Oh yeah, finished Crucible of Gold a few days ago. Took me all of 3 days, been a while since I had that sort of pace... Definitely better than Tongues of Serpents at least, and the dragons are still... themselves and plenty of the interactions remain pretty much as interesting, but otherwise still shows that she got rather weary of writing the series.
i started to read divergent, mer, and will read heir to the empire, heard it was good,
Finished reading The Shining by Stephen King. 5/5
I just finished The Long Price Quartet series by Daniel Abraham which was awesome. Really good character centered story with a good world and magic system. Really underated in my opinion.
I am currently loving Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson. It is the 2nd book of The Stormlight Archive series. You guys and gals should totally check it out.
Finished Dauntless a book by James Campbell aka John G. Hemry. If you like space opera with a lot of fighting and intense communication between the characters then this book is for you.
Just finished Hyperbole and a Half's book. Kinda disappointed, it was half old stuff and half self-loathing.

Starting on a more cerebral book, "Guns, Germs and Steel". So far, so good.
I just started "Le temps du voyage" from the french sciFi author 'feu' Roland C Wagner. Very clever setting and narration, it's been a long time I had such (good) surprises in so very few chapters.
Been trying to read a succession of James Herbert books, but finding it hard going (Rats 1.2.3 and 48), gonna stop after 48.
I've just finished reading "The Adventures of Baron Munchhausen" by Gottfried August Burger. A little book of fancy, sometimes crazy, stories filled with light humour and a bit of satire. It was kinda fun.
Next reading will be Lovecraft's "The Case of Charles Dexter Ward".
Currently I'm reading the Neuromancer trilogy by William Gibson.
I'm reading David Copperfield (veeeery slowly) and A Song of Ice and Fire (veeery fast, I'm on the third book).
Re-reading American Gods. Although this is the 10th anniversary edition (A loan from my sister)

In English or German? I'm asking because while I love William Gibson I think there is no other author that I have to read more slowly (in English).
