Usually I'm also very much into EDM, J-Pop/Rock and Classical Music but after Wacken I kind of need my fix :D.

Just a small range of things so you know what I'm talking about. These bands I kind of listen to daily right now but things change over the weeks.

Hammerfall
ACDC
Kreator
Rhapsody of Fire
Dream Theater
Uriah Heep
Deep Purple
The best shit ever

I just realized that I forgot to get big into Black Moth Super Rainbow back in 07.

Fixed that.

I'm currently listening to SmoothMcGroove. His earlier vids were sometimes not so good, but he's really improved, and now it's beautiful.

triock: Still not redeemed even after 13 hours? O.o Geez, lazy ninjas. :p

NR, but thank you Dischord for another awesome gift (I just hope that whoever grabs this will at least say thanks.)
It still isn't, but I've had them take months at times :-)

To salute the thread purpose, still listening to my boring pc fans, but will be checking links here, soon, to hear some good stuff!
Listening to a ton of bands from my teenage/early 20s years as a release for anger - Metallica, Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, Entombed, Carcass, Dismember, Slipknot, Deicide, Pantera, to name a few. Am currently listening to this Slipknot playlist. I would appreciate any recommendations for music from similar genres(the sub-genres of metal have gotten as diverse as electronic) with a heavy distorted guitar sound. It is too early in the morning to get this energy out on my punching bag as I usually do, and I don't wish to express or unload this feeling on another, as it is my own battle.

Amon Amarth. They will give you big balls and a mean ass Viking beard. If not, it's because you have no hearing.

See them gathered on the plains now
See an army strong and vast
As long as one of us remains here
None of them will ever pass

Here they come so raise the shields high
Like wolves they show their teeth
None of us will ever yield now
To the scavengers beneath

We're outnumbered ten to one here
Still, I love the odds
We will sacrifice them one by one
Send them off to the gods

Soon we will be gone
A free will sacrifice
As free men we are born
And free we shall die

Here they come ten thousand strong
Charging up the hill
This day will be both hard and long
They move in for the kill

Hold the line don't let it break
Use your sword and spear
A glory death, for all awaits
All who knows no fear

Hordes of men they hit the shields
Like waves they break away
We face our woven destiny
And we don't fear the grave

Soon we will be gone
A free will sacrifice
As free men we are born
And free we shall die
