BenKii: Yay! So glad to see these great space flight games return to Gog. They've now been re-added to my Flight Sim GogMix. :D
This is a flight sim? I always considered it to be a pure action adrenaline shooter - not much of a simulation in it :)

apehater: so now you're selling d1 and d2 individuallly!!!!!!!!!!

f*cking greedy bastards!
Easy downvote from me. You realize this is on Interplay right? Your reputation makes it seem like you're pinning this on GOG.

Even though I bought them (again) years ago it's good to see them back. These games are classics that belong on GOG.
Usually good to see removed games return and these are not part of the exceptions so, welcome back.

Generally anything that uses a joystick for flying a ship around, I call a flight sim.
Indeed, welcome back!
Yay! Welcome back! Good games. :-)

MarkoH01: Glad to see them back on GOG. but imo apehater is correct. I also do remember D1+D2 being sold as a package before. Maybe the seperation is part of the reason why the games are back? Not sure what I should think about that because basically publishers should be glad they even still are able to make money with such old games thanks to guys like here on GOG, so if they decided they need even more money... don't know....
Interplay has been doing this ever since 2012. Both Descent games used to cost 6 bucks together.
Back from the dead; should we call them... Ascent now? Nice to have them back!
Anyone involved in this spaghetti; I don't know what part of yourself you had to part with but this is really good news!

It still says Interplay as the publisher so... either Parallax lost or they got a new agreement with Interplay et al,. Either way someone are getting more money out of not bundling them together.

Never mind, this calls for some cookies, ice cold coffee and some tunnel-vision-friday-action .-D
The return of good classics is always welcome : )

As much as I love seeing these games come back, I gotta admit decoupling D1 and D2 is another red mark on Interplay's so disappointing sheet. A pity to see this sort of behavior from a company that was the first to dive into the unknown waters of GOG and its DRM-freeness.

I can only hope Interplay be put to rest soon while their catalogue goes to the hands of better consumer-friendly companies like THQ Nordic or CDPR.
It's great to see a series come back to GOG! Now is there any chance we'll see Call of Cthulhu or Achtung Panzer: Kharkov 1943 return to GOG?
OHMYGODYES.

Even though I had the first Descent on an old PCgamer cdrom I only played it properly a few months ago and I was disappointed the game and its sequels weren't on GOG.com.

I wanted to avoid spending money for a while because of a hardware upgrade but you, dear ladies and gentlemen of GOG.com, shall get my money this weekend.
