A collection of gaming's legends.

This week seems like it's going to be Legen–wait for it–dary. As legendary as the games in our Weekly Sale Vol. 12, including some of Square Enix's most absolutely memorable classics at 75% off.

Every time somebody mentions Deus Ex, someone else makes that damn joke about reinstalling. It's no wonder because the classic entries in this series have earned every right to be placed among the greatest action-RPGs ever. In case you missed it, we recently wrote about Deus Ex: Revision a free and fantastic community mod which not only improves on perfection, but also throws in over 200+ GOG Galaxy achievements to boot.

Recently Hitman has made his way back into the mainstream, and in no small part thanks to the newest entry's understanding of the classic formula. A testament to its timelessness, Contracts and Silent Assasin hold up amazingly even today. If you haven't played them yet – now's your chance!

Even though we haven't heard Legacy of Kain news in ages, the series' best like Blood Omen and Soul Reaver remain memorable and recognizable for their unique tone and intense gameplay. Would we kill for a modern take on Legacy of Kain? We say yes! But try the classics and see for yourself.

It wouldn't be a week without even more games on sale – including Gex, Anachronox, Daikatana and more at 75% off (and stay tuned for more deals this Friday!) in the Weekly Sale Vol. 12, lasting until April 24, 4:00 PM UTC.
Oh, look! Dragonsphere is on sale again! For 75% off!
On a completely unrelated note, I happen to have a copy or two of Dragonsphere available for the asking! For 100% off!
I don't know if this has been said yet but can you please stop just throwing these things together? It's confusing as hell when you see 3 titles listed together and then the other one way at the bottom. Can at least list them alphabetically.

Painted_Doll: I wonder who is responsible for these weekly sales .

The Deus Ex games were on sale 10 days ago . https://www.gog.com/forum/general/release_deus_ex_revision_free_mod_2b416
The Hyperdimension Neptunia series were on sale in January .
This has been the case for ages. Sell a game for $2.49 continuously but list it as $9.99 normal price. These games shouldn't still be selling at the normal original price after 17 years. This is just an underhanded way of making the new normal price attractive to us.

Sadly the dream of digital distribution has turned out to be nothing but a lie. I can pick a game up in shops for a tenth the price after 6 months but with digital some games are still listed at the original price after 5 years. Just lower the bloody prices in line with what it should sell at every 3 or 6 months.

What do you mean? The games in the weekly sale? You actually can.

I don't see Anachronox on there. Guess it'll be part of the Friday sale.
What an awesome coincidence, was thinking about buying the Legacy of Kain series last night because I wanted them in my library in case they stopped selling it. Glad I waited. :)
Oh, wow, some really great discounts! Thanks GOG and publishers! :)

Random_Coffee: Can I save during missions in Hitman 2 & 3? As much as I like the first game, screwing up and getting shot in the face after 45 minutes and starting over is agonizing.
avatar
Flaose: The amount of saves you get per level is determined by the difficulty you're playing at, but thankfully, yes, you can save in-mission in Hitman 2 & 3.
Great! I like to play all my games on Hard. How many saves would that get me?

2 to 3, I believe.
On the hardest level - none.

Addition: checked the wiki, yep, 2-3 saves per mission on Expert, it actually depends on the game.

At one point, circa 2013, GOG was working on getting Gex 2 and 3 here; I wonder what happened with that. (Th4if also)

Gex 3 is a console-exclusive game and I doubt either Square Enix or GOG will entertain the idea of emulation.

Huh, well GOG said they were working on them (both) in Nov 2014 - https://twitter.com/GOGcom/status/537275996630953985 ; maybe they just meant Gex 2.

Yes, I'm aware of this tweet. They might have mistakenly thought that the third was released on PC.

Weirdly, Gex 3 is also mentioned for "Microsoft Windows" and published by "Konami (PC)" - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gex_3:_Deep_Cover_Gecko But I guess that's just misinformation.

Seems like it. Any links to the game's PC reviews are actually for the Playstation version.
Strangely, in russian version of site's main page when you open "Discounts" tab you will get a list from previous sale without any discounts. To find games from current sale you'll have to find games by search on site. Fix this please!
