Time to make your move.

Being an armchair general is not as easy as it sounds: it requires patience, careful planning of your snack supplies, and confidence in picking the right game for the job. This is the most important part so if your library is lacking some key units, make sure to check out the catalogs of Strategy First and 1C Publishing before going into the battlefields.

Either you prefer your skirmishes turn-based or real-time, Strategy First has got you covered: Disciples 2 Gold, Jagged Alliance 1 & 2, and Warrior Kings are ready to take your orders and lead you to glory.

1C Publishing joins the fray with a tactical formation consisting of veteran units like: UFO: Aftershock, King's Bounty: Crossworlds GOTY, and Faces of War.

If you're not the strategist type, don't worry: there is BLACKHOLE, Pilot Brothers, Sacred Gold and plenty of others.

The Weekly Sale will last until November 13, 11 PM UTC.
Does Space Rangers have the latest patch? https://steamcommunity.com/games/214730/announcements/detail/1452830226781318297
I ask because they are often very slow pushing patches to GOG, and on the Steam forums, they tend to blame GOG for this.

eiii: The promo page tells me "select more to save more". But no matter how many games I select the prices do not change. Even when I select all the games and check them out I do not get other prices. Do I miss anything or is the "select more to save more" message just a bug?
That message only disappears for me if I select all of the games I already own as well!

Having said that, this isn't the kind of sale where the rates change with each game you add so I'm not sure why that message is appearing. I suspect it's just a GOG glitch!

Do you really need to select all your owned games for it to go away, or selecting only one also does the trick?

Be as it may, and obviating owned games, I think I've worked out how it works. If I select the game with the highest discount of those I don't already own, the message doesn't appear. It does appear if I select any game that doesn't have the highest discount. So I assume the message only appears if the current combination of selected games doesn't match the maximum possible discount attainable in the promo.

Anyway, it's a pretty stupid message in the context of this sale and therefore probably a bug/glitch. :P

Brigador might be on sale here this week - https://twitter.com/gausswerks/status/927598759047057408

But devs/pubs don't have direct price control here, so they have to get GOG's attention first -

Three of my favorite games are in this sale: Jagged Alliance 2, Disciples 2 and King's Bounty series.

Get them in case you haven't (?!!) yet.

Scratch that. It doesn't actually behave like I described and it seems totally random. Or has it changed ever since I posted that? o_O

HunchBluntley: Has Sacred always had a different publisher here than Sacred 2, or was this a somewhat recent change?
avatar
Grargar: Ever since it was released.
Thanks, Night Cat.

It seems to be tied to specific items/combinations of items being selected. I'm not gonna go through the whole list of possible permutations, though. :P

Are King's bounty games (Legends and Crossworlds) working in Wine properly for you?

I've tried Crossworlds demo and the game seems to be working correctly, but it is rather slow, sometimes 10FPS slow. (I have decent hardware, so that should not be the problem)

revanbh: Some great games on offer. I would especially recommend Disciples 2, King's Bounty: The Legend an The Armored Princess. Also Jagged Alliance 2.
Good selection you've made there imho!

I wonder if GOG will announce it.

Judging by the amount of posts in this thread, I wouldn't bet on it...

I meant even on the front page. Maybe tomorrow when GOG staff are actually in-office.

Per: https://steamcommunity.com/games/214730/announcements/detail/1452830226781318297
latest is Build 2.1.2266, so unfortunately, the GOG build is out of date.
