CLINK. CLANK. BOUM.

That, my friends, is the sound of a tank crossing Europe. Can you guess what this week’s sale is all about?

If you are a fan of Grand Strategy games, continue reading. If you are not yet a fan of Grand Strategy games, continue reading too, because Paradox Interactive is beaming its brightest light with Hearts of Iron, Hearts of Iron II: Complete, Hearts of Iron III and Darkest Hour: A Hearts of Iron Game (up to -75%). Go through different scenarios and play multiple factions as you guide your nation to glory, conduct diplomacy and build your industry… And if you feel like the stars are more enticing than the mud, try the excellent space strategy title Sword of the Stars (-75%).

Check all Paradox Interactive deals here.

If, indeed, you guessed it right, then you will have no trouble solving the puzzles and mysteries of all the other games included in this sale!

Kick aliens in the tentacules in the 2D tactical Depth of Extinction (-40%), or solve grim mysteries in some of the best Point&Click games of these past years: True Fear: Forsaken Souls (-50%) and True Fear: Forsaken Souls Part 2 (-33%). Gradually move towards more positive vibes with Subject 13 (-50%), Rainswept (-30%) or the too-cute-to-be-true Donut County (-33%). Finally, if you’re in for some love-induced tears, give the indie adventure Last Day of June (-70%) a shot; it’s worth it.

Check the list of all riddles awaiting you here.

Both sales end on September 23rd at 1PM UTC.
Nice to see some great Point&Click games discounted. Amanita Design is one of my favourite devs, I'd make sure to get at least Machinarium. :) In fact, I'll probably buy it again now here on GOG for the goodies, their soundtracks are always amazing.
A weekly sale where almost all games have a higher regional price than the US price, quite bad, so my interest is very limited.

And a Paradox sale with only 6 entries prominently announced while the much bigger Paradox sale of last week with 25 entries had been added silently and not been announced at all? I guess I never will understand marketing. :P

That's GOG's marketing for you. They quite often silently add games or remove games. Its annoying as was debated last time it brought up. The general guess reasoning is that its part of the agreement that they can't announce it when that happens. But GOG have never officially commented it.

Is anyone allowed to tell us why the deluxe edition of Warlocks 2: God Slayers has been removed from the catalog?

Because it no longer makes sense to exist, all extras are now included in the standard edition. Not the best for the people who purchased it at launch...

Interesting. Maybe GOG did not announce the change to avoid to annoy people which bought the game before.
