Anyone know if Ghost 1.0 runs in WINE?
Has anyone tried that Mana Spark game? Does it allow the player to save at the end of a level?

tinyE: The GOG bear is on sale?

far out
Why they don't have a stuffed GOG bear for sale is beyond me.

I'd buy a GOG shirt in a heartbeat, and pay whatever they asked.

Their loss.

Anime-BlackWolf: I hope to see the sequel / next game of "Anima" series here, soon.

This price reduction/publisher sale would be a nice time for a release here.

Please GOG?
Agreed - I want the second game on GOG, too.

But GOG seems to have rejected it, since the devs were willing:

GOG is lucky it doesn't have much in the way of competition for the DRM-free market, or its "curators" would likely have driven me straight to another service.

I bought that game through a bundle once and it refused to run on my Win10 machine.....I wonder if the GOG version is any better? :\

I don't know, but I do know that I got Unepic to run in WINE back when I was playing it, at least until the Linux version came to GOG (though, even then, the Linux version had a bug that would reliably crash the game during the winter, which I used libfaketime to get around). Also, wouldn't you say it's a bit strange for a game (Unepic) with characters named Ubuntu and Fedora to not offer a Linux version?

Of course, Ghost 1.0 might be written newer libraries and therefore its WINE status might be different.

Just checked my library and Unepic has a linux version .

I know, but it didn't when I first bought the game. (The Linux version was actually released after I had started playing it; fortunately, the save files are compatible, though unfortunately, the Linux (and Mac, IIRC) GOG version had a seasonal gamebreaking bug when first relleased.)

I am also interested in this information.
Would appreciate some suggestions about the Risen series of games.
Note that I have not played the Gothic series either.

I prefer my open world games to feel alive with NPCs and bustling hubs/towns/villages.
Narrative depth is appreciated, but can overlook a bit of poor writing if other aspects are good enough.

Risen 1(which I played a bit) has a good deal of area to explore/stuff to do, though it may become hard to keep track of(what to go back to when you have items/skills to progress/etc) what you've done/who you've talked to/etc in some cases. Basically be prepared to take notes/write stuff down.

The music/cutscenes/story is good, though, and the whole "people change their attitude depending on who/what factions you befriend/allienate" thing is fun, as well as how some factions treat you better/worse(and options open up in game quests/etc) depending on who you ally with.

From what I hear Risen 2/3 is basically more of the same, but I dunno as I haven't played them.
