Is that Pajama Sam on sale I see? I do believe so :) As always I'll recommend Vol. 1 at least because it has two great adventures, but Vol. 2 does have the great You Are What You Eat

I know they wouldn't sell incredibly well but still wanting other Humongous games GOG :P (please)

Earthlock for only 4.99 Euros. Thanks!
hope the journeyman projects get better discounts at some point.
Is it just me, or is there whole orders of magnitude less engagement in the forums nowadays?

I mean, new weekly sale, and 3 comments.

That's, kind of sad.
A whole 0% off the Manhole? Why stop there when you could have a special price increase? -10% off, -25% off? How about -95% off!?

How much engagement do you want when the sales seemingly roll off a conveyor in frequency these days? Sale burnout isn't just an ailment beholden to people daring to buy from other places.

I've noticed it too. Some of it is probably people disillusioned with GOG/principles (maybe expecting GOG to be the savior of digital distribution or something like that), some who were only here for the "good old games" and relevant discussion, others just bored

Or maybe the sale is considered to be not that great? Just take a look at the "Made in Poland" sale - it has 73 comments.

Perhaps because that sale was more of a special sale, not one of the usual weekly/weekend/midweek/Paradox sales.

It is a good sale, but not a great sale.

Plus, the Made in Poland sale went off at a tangent about German art, literature and cinema, leading me to remenisce about the TV season of Fassbinder films in the UK back in the day.

So, that was nice.

Mind you, that price on Pajama Sam is pretty good.

That's possible. Do you think forum engagement levels (in general) have remained the same? edit: maybe engagement is the same or even higher and the threads being created just don't interest me personally

(btw I do have enough self-awareness to recognize I'm basically the only person here that cares about Pajama Sam/Humongous Entertainment ;)

Things I look for are genre, parental ratings, controller support, simultaneous mulit-player, and game requirements.

Game descriptions, sales post, game ratings (### users) and forum commentary also help me make a decision.

I also search for screenshots - if old game supports some form of 16:9 HD resolution scaling (E.g., 1280x720, 1366x768, 1920x1080) and some 2560x1440, 3840×2160 (4K UHD) for the more recent titles.
Now platformers are also adventures?

There is such a genre as action-adventure games. And as a sub-genre: platform-adventure
