BartonFink: I'm new here. I've not seen "Pre Black Friday" sales before. If I want to maximise my savings, which event should I buy from?

a) Pre Black Friday
b) Black Friday
c) Post Pre Black Friday
d) Pre Post Black Friday
e) Post Black Friday

Have I missed one?
Black Friday Encore.

"The sale wasn't popular enough, so lets do it again. People will be sure to buy this time".

Don't laugh. GOG actually did it for the Summer Sale earlier this year.

Robette: I'm actually willing to tell people Cyberpunk is worth it at this price point, unless you are in the group who still has serious performance issues. Despite all the disappointment, it's still a fun game, intriguing storyline, entertaining gunplay with decent 'casting' options and some beautiful scenery mostly.

Some issues people complain about also have really easy fixes, like driving becoming ten times better by simply changing the deadzones and sensitivity of the controller.
Fair enough for me. If that is your experience, then I'm certain you know what you are talking about.

Unfortunately for me testing the game out is, I guess, out of the question for the time being. None of my PC will hold it stable enough for playing, so at this point my only way of getting it would be the PS4, and that version got hit hard, so I consider this a risky buy...
Not to mention I'd have to sacrifice half (1/3 at the least) of my PS4 drive space to install the game and all those fixes along with it.

It's true. They did. Multiple times. A game goes on sale, sale ends, a week later the same game is again on sale. All the while some games either never hit sale or rarely.

Yea, I'm talking PC release here. I wouldn't touch the PS4 version.

I got it yesterday and requested a refund... The game would start but not get past where V is staring at her hands. 5 seconds on the clock the game crashed. Doing all that's been suggested to fix crash issues, after 2 hours trying I had enough of it. All I got out of this experience was seeing the character editor and V's hands.

So, yes, thanks for the quality release, CDPR. This time next year they will certainly have got it all fixed, no? Until then this game will also likely be discounted to 80% because they are desparate...

The game really needs some decent hardware. Thinking they could optimize it for a toaster was one of their huge sins. It was pretty playable for me since version 1.0 (PC, RTX 2060). I did expect something slightly different based on their teasers released over the years, but that's "creative differences", not technical stability. Still, good game, if you can run it.
Why does it feel like Cyberpunk and Disco E are perpetually on sale?

Listed at the bottom of this post are my system specs. It should have been able to run this game just fine. At least it should have been good enough to get me past the 5 seconds after the game started and crashed for unknown reasons.
Now when Gog personnel change name of sale to Pre-Black-Friday sale everything fell into place.
Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire - Obsidian Edition has a great price. If you happen to missed the game, now it's the best time to try it. This edition includes everything that was released for it. The title itself is Obsidian's magnum opus and too bad that it didn't sell good enough (presumably because of the setting). I would even risk a statement that it's the best game made by the American studio. If you're not afraid of walls of text and generally like isometric RPGs, there's no reason to think further. Just grab the game and have dozens of hours of fun! :)

Once again, the superior option over Cyberpunk. =P

No, I don't see myself partaking in CP unless it receives a significant overhaul or reaches the $15 or less price point.
