Duke Nukem, Shadow Warrior, and other classic shooters 60% off

No words can describe the awesomeness of our new weekend offer! No, scratch that. There are some words. "Pew, pew!". There, all done, thank you very much! Our Apogee Action Weekend promo described in nine characters (including the exclamation mark and space). Big guns, small guns, laser guns, gunpowder guns, single-barreled guns, double-barreled guns, triple-barreled guns, quadruple--oh, you get the idea. All things shooty. Five action-packed FPS games, three rampage-ready platformers, and one fast-paced space-fighter sim, all for your explosive pleasure and blazing satisfaction. There are some great action heroes on our roster, this weekend. Let's put two of them in the spotlight.

The Bishop of Badassdome, Duke Nukem, is mostly known as the star of his classic 3D FPS game, aptly named Duke Nukem 3D. His career, however, began with two classic run-and-gun action-platformer flicks, simply known as Duke Nukem 1+2. Once a platformer character, always a platformer character--one might say. After making his blockbuster FPS, Duke decided to go back to his roots. That's how Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project came to being. In this severely underrated gem Duke reprises his role of a platform-jumping hero, as he takes on hordes of twisted mutants menacing New York. Each and every one of these titles can be yours for only $2.39!

If you think that Duke's famous one-liners are awesome, brace yourself, because you've heard nothing yet. Lo Wang is Mr. Nukem's counterpart of unspecified Asian origin, and he's the most talkative ninja-kung-fu-samurai-sushi-karate-type person in the history of games. This controversial star of Shadow Warrior Complete is always ready to mock his enemies in ways that will make you blush. No, really. Hearing some of his lines will make you wonder how did the devs ever got away with them. Maybe nobody noticed over all that amazing FPS action? Find out for yourself, for only $2.39!

Even more things go "pew, pew!", "ka-bang!", "woooosh!", and "BOOM!" in our weekend offer. Go right ahead to the Apogee Action promo page, and find out for yourself!

As usual, below you'll find a new episode of This Week on GOG, a short video guide to recent events, promos, and other happenings on the site. By the way, if you haven't already, you might want to follow the GOG.com channel on Youtube, so you won't miss our shows, specials, and exclusive trailers.
I just bought Shadow Warrior. A bargain for such a great game.

Hmm, I have no clue.
Yeah, well. To say that the hint is vague would be a mind-blowing understatement.

I'm the one writing the body of TWoGOG script, you know, but this week I figured I could allow The Enigmatic T to write the classic release hint part himself. Its like, he only had one job...

...and he blew it.

So, what would your hint have been?

Edit: Unless you've already given us your hint, thus I say "Body Blows".

Not a word more from me. TET's hint may be poor, but I don't want to blow the cover on this thing.

Is it 'big rigs'?

You fight the controls and you are in 'lost town 2'

mrking58: Does anyone know if I can add the WASD controls to the blake stone games?
Yeah you can just click ctrl+f1 to open the dosbox mapper and map the arrow keys to W,S,A,D by selecting a arrow key , hitting add and then selecting the key you want to remap it too and make sure you remove the normal bindings for W,S,A,D. All you need to do is just highlight the key like say W and click the delete icon on the mapper screen or else not only will you do your movements but the game will still try and use it's normal setting for that key.

I'm going to guess Realms of Chaos. It fits the description and we';ve been seeing a bunch of 3dRealms/Appogee titles of late.

Is it Serious Sam 2? If it's older, than it has to be No One Lives Forever :)

LUCASARTS CONFIRMED! :D
Xotic? I doubt it, given that it's not a classic by any stretch of the imagination; also, it's probably way too on the nose...

I dunno about that....if anything he made me even more intrigued. 0.o

Also as for the vagueness: Well he IS The ENIGMATIC T, after all. ;)

BTW: A BIG THANKS to my anonymous benefactor. I will enjoy the games immensely. XD
