But which version of Heretic did Steam release? The original retail release was 3 episodes, but it was released again at some point as "Shadow of the Serpent Riders" and it had a 4th episode that took place on the shattered remains of a world that the Serpent Riders had long since conquered and destroyed. That is the version I'm interested in obtaining.
EDIT- Sweet Jesus! I went to Steam's site and checked on that and.... Sweet Jesus! That ID Super Pack they sell for $70 is insane. All those games for only $70. If I had $70 to burn, I would buy that pack this instant, there a ton of games in that pack that I want.

AFAIK you can get the fourth episode in a patch if you have any other.
But the Steam version got the "Shadow of the Serpent Riders" version. I also got the ID pack, and it's worth it I tell ya.
Well, at least before the 1$ = 1€ crap....

+1
Raven still got a few good games like Soldier of Fortune (first one) or Jedi Knight II

SoF 2 wasn't that bad either.
SoF 3 wasn't especially good, but it was rather hilarious, because limbs seemed to fall off just by looking at them.
However I'm yet to play much of Jedi Knight II, so that's something I would have been very interested in getting hold off.

I agree, 1$ to 1 euro is nothing but a rippof...
And about Id, yes it's true they have it all on Steam, but I still haven't bought anyof their games because I want to buy them from GOG :)
So crossing fingers for Id on GOG
You guys are talking about Raven and didn't even mention such classics like Shadow Caster, Take No Prisoners, , [url=http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/cyclones]CyClones and Necrodome! :o
Now THOSE are the real Raven games I want to see on GOG.
We need EA, for the godawful amount of IPs they own, especially the Bullfrog IPs.
EA would be the holy grail, both in sheel level of awesome and sadly in the probability of finding it...
Still, only takes one person who realises that selling old stuff for money is better than not getting it.
According to Tom, the next deal is almost done and it's a big one:
Yeah woo! Not to be a big tease, but when we do our next big tease... the deal is arguably going to have a bigger impact. Maybe. Depends on who you are.
Yeah, the next major publisher deal is pretty much signed (almost, very close) and it's a big one. And yes, I did that on purpose.

Bullfrog definitely, but the faster way for GOG to get all my money is getting Looking Glass Studios :X

yay, you'd buy several copies of the System Shocks and you'd gift em to everyone on #gog :>

There is a method to my madness my good man. I didn't mention CyClones because I already have it in DosBox and I didn't mention Necrodome, because, believe it or not, I actually own an original CD-Rom of it that I bought way back in the long long ago when the world was young. My mission, should I choose to accept it, provided you think me a filthy liar for saying I own an original copy of Necrodome, will be to post a picture of myself holding the aforementioned title in my pale white clutches. :)

EA would kick ass for Clive Barker's Undying, if for no other reason, that would make the entire license worth it. That game scared the bejesus out of me, lol.
