spindown: I'm a bit disappointed that the boxed version doesn't include a digital download of the game. I would even pay an extra $15 for a digital copy, but unfortunately they don't offer that option.
It always says previous reward, and the first reward is the DD. I am expecting a DD version for my money! I sure as hell won't hassle with the disc. Heck, I don't know if I will even have a disc drive in 2013.

Edit: And ninja'd.

You could try with a second account....

Navagon: I couldn't resist the $50 pledge. But it does leave me wondering if more will be required for shipping. So I've asked.

Yes, and it's available DRM free and on Steam. Maybe I should have put an "on" in there.

dr.zli: "Pledge $100 or more
669 Backers

Previous reward + COLLECTOR'S EDITION PREMIUM BOXED VERSION which of course contains map and instruction book. But additionally comes with Wasteland miniature, Wasteland 2 faction badge. Also get your name in the credits in a special thanks section. The premium box replaces the standard box but also comes with a digital copy of the game."

It's a high price but it's wasteland 2 man!
Yes, the collector's edition for $100 does include a downloadable copy, unlike the regular edition for $50. A hundred bucks is a lot of money though, I will have to think about that for a while.

Actually, the $50 tier doesn't say anything about including the previous rewards. And the $100 tier explicitly mentions that a downloadable copy is included, so I'm pretty sure that you don't get one if you pledge $50. Which is unfortunate as I feel I shouldn't have to rip a DVD after paying $50.

It's in the FAQ:
I am a collector, can I get a digital copy with my Large Box Copy so I don't have to open the box?
Due to popular demand, the $50 pledge for the Large Box Copy now also comes with a Digial Download copy of the game. We understand the collector mindset!

MoP:
Oh, I didn't look at the FAQ. That's really cool, thanks! I don't mind opening the box, but I would prefer to not have to use the physical disk.

I am a collector who likes to open up his boxes ;)
If you're going for just the digital copy, you only need to pledge 15$ since it nets you a DD
Got a response from inXile about ten minutes after posting the question. Can't argue with that.

Posting here in case it's of use to anyone else considering getting the boxed set:

This is true for us our Kickstarter as well. For any citizen of Notamericaland, we are asking them to please add $15 for shipping. We added it to the FAQ's but it's not completely clear. Hopefully they will let us update the rewards section with this info. ]This is true for us our Kickstarter as well. A certain other popular game-related kickstarter project is requesting an extra $10 on top of the pledge necessary to get a boxed copy of their game if you live in Notamericaland. Is this also true here? If not, what's the deal?
5000 backers and 275,000 USD raised so far! That's an average of around 55 USD per funder.
My wallet weeps. I just supported the Doublefine project and now this? It's great, but, had I known, I would have held back a little with Doublefine in order to spread the wealth. It's a good thing that they are accepting backers for a month, because I'll need to save up. I definietly will though. This is an impressive team and an incredibly exciting project.

The other project uses orphans to deliver the physical goods, it is cheaper.

Orphans might not be strong swimmers but they float all the same.
