spindown: I'm a bit disappointed that the boxed version doesn't include a digital download of the game. I would even pay an extra $15 for a digital copy, but unfortunately they don't offer that option.
The 50 dollar copy now has a digital copy with it so you can keep your box sealed if you want.

Shit, I may have lied, now I can't find the reference.

EDIT: Hell yeah, wasn't lying:

"I am a collector, can I get a digital copy with my Large Box Copy so I don't have to open the box?
Due to popular demand, the $50 pledge for the Large Box Copy now also comes with a Digial Download copy of the game. We understand the collector mindset!

We're halfway to the goal now. Another 450k and the game is go!

No, you're right. It's in the FAQ.

PoSSeSSeDCoW: I think it's pretty safe to say that it won't reach its goal.
EDIT: Ooops, sorry I missed the sarcasm! disregard

EC-: More than halfway to goal already with over a month to go.
Yeah, it was a misguided attempt at sarcasm.

Fred_DM: did you only just now figure out that this forum here is the only place on the internet where people actually give a crap about DRM?? i mean, 30+ million Steam accounts might have been a hint. or 3 best-selling Assassin's Creed games all featuring the most restrictive DRM ever devised. or Battlefield 3 selling like hotcakes on the PC despite the Origin requirement.

i'd probably go for the Steam edition as well, if i had to make a choice. unlimited downloads and patching priority. the DRM-free edition will not be available for download forever, and if you loose your backup copy, you're out of luck.

also, thanks to Amazon still not accepting PayPal this is yet another Kickstarter project i can't back. they really should start to consider offering alternative payment methods.
Awww gee I didn't mean to hurt your feelings by expressing my opinion about DRM-free being better than Steam.

(The words in bold are meant to express why I don't feel like telling you you're wrong because you're probably going to be so butthurt, like you are now, that you can't objectively peruse the facts without taking them out of context for your arguments)

lowyhong: The most disturbing thing I saw while glossing over RPGCodex's W2 thread was a quote of someone from the Kickstarter comments asking if he could get the Steam version rather than the DRM-free version, because he didn't want the DRM-free version. O_O
I also prefer a Steam version. A lot more comfortable and the DRM doesn't bother me.

That's fine. I'd singled that comment out due to the way it was constructed. "I want the game on steam, not DRM free."
Sigh.... Great project.... To bad my rig just cost me way to much to fix.... Hmm..... To pledge or to pledge big....

Get the collectors, it looks like the best bang for the buck. I find it funny, because the 150 pledge isn't really a step up, no one takes it, but there's still a ton of 250 pledges.

The 250.00 one or the 100 one ? I'm
100$ one seems like the best bang for buck. Kickstarter already hit 520k so we can be confident the game will be funded :D yay!
