In an interview with Kotaku, Atsushi Inaba dropped this sly little hint:

KOTAKU: It would be a good idea to release Vanquish on PC.

INABA: (smiling) Hrm. I wonder... If you stop recording, I can talk about that. (laughs)

I know it's unlikely to ever see release on GOG... but this game deserves the 60FPS PC treatment so, so badly. I hope this happens...provided Sega doesn't catch the denuvo bug.

I remember hearing so many stories from my console friends about Vanquish. More amazingly good games at 60 FPS would be great, but whenever I hear news about something coy or cryptic said by someone Japanese I take it with a pinch of salt, because most of the time the actual meaning is utterly lost in translation, due to incompetent interpreters.
I got burnt too many times in the past to fall to hype anymore.

All good points.

It's not that I'm not skeptical at all here, I'd just like to think it might happen, I mean this isn't the first hint we've heard with Sega looking to bring more of their console games to PC.

I had so much fun with Vanquish that I finished it twice in two days and I never ever do that haha. It is a little over hyped but it is still a very frantic adrenaline rush of a game.
