I have the French version of the game. I don't know French, but I was in Paris many years ago and picked it up because it was cheap. The combination of French and bugs means I couldn't even leave the first room. Still, it came with a beautiful cloth map which I framed.

keeveek: Possibly tomorrow, since they didn't release it alongside with Nexus. Proof:

TheEnigmaticT: We actually had to shift Ultima IX a bit later in the schedule; I believe it's this month, still, but I cannot recall when. -_-
THAT'S what I want to hear. (Any chance you could make it an EA batch?) My apologies for complaining quite a bit, but I'd prefer to see an equal number of oldies released with the newies. :)

Silly man, we all know T.e.T.'s job isn't to answer replies to his posts.......it is his job, though, to post vague replies to threads before vanishing once more into the ether(As befitting his moniker.). ;)

TheEnigmaticT: I like to smear myself in honey and run through the forests yelling, "Here bears! Come here bears!"
Quite an odd way to hunt!

mgarnett: If they can release Might and Magic IX, then they can release Ultima 9!! Which was worse?

oldschool: Have you actually played M&M 9? It's actually quite good, not M&M 6 good, but good in it's own right.
My post was tongue in cheek, chillout! (and yep, I've played both)

It was simply a question, I don't why you thought i was attacking you. go figure.
M&M IX got very bad reviews when it came out because of:

a) outdated graphics
b) BUGFEST

many patches after, most game breaking bugs (all?) are covered, I'd play it, most definitely.

Yeah, it had loads of bugs. The GOG version plays great. Too bad 3DO rushed this one out the door.

c) obviously unfinished locales.
d) confined overworld maps, as much as Lithtech could handle. I like the dungeons, but world maps made out of a ridiculously twisted path to give an impression of a larger area are pathetic. Oh, and they removed Fly and Jump spells to prevent the player from taking shortcuts.

Well outdated graphics on a site formally known as Good Old Games aren't really complaint-worthy, depending on what one's eyes can handle. (Unless it's, like, Ultima 2)
