Crosmando: Just make sure you use the Beautiful Britannia mod guys, it removes physical barriers in-game and makes the world map less linear.
GameRager: Physical barriers?
Converts some linear zones into non-linear ones, so for example an impassable hill etc which blocks you from exploring the rest of the map, is removed.

Well that rules that mod out for me, then. (I usually try to play a game the original way it was made[Gameplay-wise/graphics-wise, I mean.] first.)
An aside: Plus linearity isn't as bad as people make it out to be, imo.
aluinie: Nice interview all i got to say is tell us EnigmaticT what all are your 700 games you brought over. Just kidding but you did a goo job with your talk.
This is the answer to all "why game X isn't on gog yet?" question:

Oh yeah, by all means play the game vanilla on your first playthrough, I would advise it. I'm a bit surprised (or not) that I seem to be like the only person on the GOG boards who actually kinda liked IX, despite all it's flaws.

Well oldschool says he/she liked it......also I might like it as well(Never played it, but I seem to like alot of the games people don't like.).....we'll see.
Good thing it's coming. After Spoony's review, I'm really curious to try it out for myself. And the completist in me kinda wants this, even if it's only for my shelf.
And besides, this thing has almost 1900 votes, so GOG should be able to get decent sales numbers out of it. >_> And Pagan didn't do that badly, either.
