Why would that upset Ultima fans? Most of us hated Ultima 9

Because some do not hate it? Sorry but not everyone agrees with you. In fact GOG recognizes that there are enough of us who would buy it that they intend to make it available to purchase. Do you think they would do that if they had the expectation that nobody would buy it? Do you think they do not know what they are doing?

Did I say that no one like it or that it shouldn't be on here? no I didn't so relax, all I said is that the most or the seeming majority of ultima fans don't care for the game so it wouldn't offened them if he said he hated it. I'm sorry if you touchy about people not liking the game but thems the breaks, alot of people didn't like it, you do that's fine but people are going to hate it, insult it and so on nothing you can do about it outside of just shrug it off and enjoy the game.

If they can release Might and Magic IX, then they can release Ultima 9!! Which was worse?

lol, can we see the whole year's schedule? I am hoping the Rainbow Six Rogue Spear series, Ghost Recon expansions packs and SWAT 4 Gold being in there. =D

I remember playing Ultima IX long ago and actually loving it. Then that love started to turn to hate... and then... apathy.

Well, the more games on here the better, and since they have the other games they might as well throw in the last game. The biggest disappointment that I can see about U9 (besides the bugs) is wasted plot potential. If I were on the writing team, I would have had the avatar turn evil from his time in pagan. While he did defeat the guy who took over Britania (forgot his name), he claimed the thrown for himself and now rules with an iron fist, fearful that evil will take over once again. He grew werely of how often it seems like Lord British allows evil into the realm and always expects him to clean up, and throws him in the dungeon. Lord British managers to escape and summons a new hero from our world to defeat the rogue avatar.

This would branch off nicely from the previous game. Since they wanted to make the game friendly to newcomers having a new avatar come in would have offered a great excuse to explain the lore and the virtues without making the characters look like thundering morons.

Well, Ultima IX was a bit of a stinker, but it would still be welcome here for the sake of the collectors.

I figure if I liked Daikatana i'll like this game as well.......now for GOG to actually releases the thing.

Just make sure you use the Beautiful Britannia mod guys, it removes physical barriers in-game and makes the world map less linear.
