So my avatar is using a crossbow and its fun and all, but i really would like to be able to switch what weapon i am using to my sword i have sheethed at my side, without going into my inventory, placing the cross bow in a backpack and than taking the sword and placing it in my hand, is there any hotkey that swaps your weapon with whatever one you have sheethed? I know he does it if you run out of arrows or bolts.. but i kinda want to be able to do it if things get hectic...

Could you please use the Ultima forum for this kind of questions?

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a hotkey for that particular purpose. At least according to the game's reference card (part of the title's bonus content), the closest function appears to be pressing "I" to bring up the inventory.

I agree that we have some dead subforums. But the Ultima forum isn't one of them. The last post was from today and there are five topics that had activity within the last five days. Just give it a try. People will help you there too.

I know... but 1 active post a day and a few over 5 days is hardly a alive and bustling place... but I know it wasnt the best decision.

I know the games reference card doesnt have any, but I was hoping exult added some or it was a hotkey the game didnt list on the reference, but oh well Its a old game and one of the first of its kind, alot of these things I am looking for are things that were added in later western RPGs that built off of the ground work that this one created for them. If it helps i could re-work this into a general conversation on Ultima, that should help yeah?

But seriously, that kind of questions is exactly what we have the subforums for. There are 637 subforums and if everybody starts to post his or her game questions in the general forum, this place will be a complete mess in no time.

Believe me, people will answer your questions in the subforum as well. Many of us have an eye on the subforums for the games we've played and will answer there if a new question appears.

In the future you can create a thread in the sub-forum then post a link in general, that way it might attract some people that is in the know-how but the discussion will be in the appropriate section of the forum.
