I randomly remembered a game I used to play all the time at school, it was a puzzle/adventure game with point and click mechanics. It was on one of the Acorn Archimedes computers.

I was in senior school between 1995 - 2000 so the game was made around or before then. All I can remember is that it was a 2d game with points on each screen that you could interact with. One scene, I believe, was a waterfall in a forest.

I wish I could remember more than that, google images has been rather unhelpful.

I can't actually help much, but maybe this list contains the title you are looking for? http://glacoras.net16.net/archimedes.html

And just because it would be a nice coincident, maybe the game you are talking about is Simon the Sorcerer currently on sale?
Is it one of these nine games?

I like the way you think, sir, but I already own all the Simon the Sorcerer games. I also found The Labyrinth of Time on here as well, which kind of blew me away.

Could you please clarify this a bit more? :) How did they look like or how did they work? :)

The images were all 2D, and you could click on certain parts and things would happen. You needed to find the right thegs to do in order to proceed. I'm pretty sure they weren't photos, they were all graphics. Also, I vaguely remembered a stylised sun and I think it might have had a face.

It was one of two games I played at school all the time, the other being that Encyclopaedia Britannica game or whatever it was called, where you progressed through dungeons by answering questions correctly.

Oh, nice, that's one of the two games, just not the one I was originally asking about XD
Aw, c'mon, somebody help me, it's driving me insane XD
My first thought was The Pawn, but I think you're saying there was no typing at all?

Were you locked to single screens before proceeding? Were the puzzles abstract and strange, or telegraphed with instructions?
Adventure game with a waterfall in the forest... Was your character a man with light-brown hair ?

Well, I have to admit I don't even know anyone who knows anyone who'd had an Acorn Archimedes. Wasn't it pretty much UK-only, and even there relatively rare (due to its high price and limited game selection)? Maybe people used it at schools?

I know Zarch though. I played its Amiga-port called "Virus" on the Amiga quite a lot.
