takezodunmer2005: I didn't find this out until AFTER I fuckin' bought it! All I saw was that TL2 was DRM free, and bought it from runic directly, I didn't check the fact that it was DRM free via a separate Humble Bundle site...
DRM#1 I had to have the prog go online to install...
DRM#2 Auto DL the files via launcher...
DRM#3 Now I have to activate it to their online fuckin' servers!
I usually make sure that a game doesn't sneak their DRM bullshit on me before I end up wasting my money on them, but it looks like I was too overzealous when I saw the words Torchlight 2 DRM free, and even went to their site to support them in celebration upon learning about it...
So can it truly be considered piracy if one were to torrent a game that they paid full price for? (Rhetorical question naturally)
tinyE: I got it from Runic and unless they recently changed it there should be a way to start it and play it off line. DRM#1 I had to have the prog go online to install...

Go into your files and find the Runic folder, mine was "C:\Users\Public\Games\Runic Games\"
Go into Torchlight 2 and you should see a file called JUST "Torchlight2". That should take you strait to the game with no logging in.
When the game installs it automatically makes a desktop icon with the file "tl2.runic.launcher.exe" which makes you log on and all that shit.
This is why I value GOG so much, because one could easily DL a game after purchase directly to a flash drive/laptop via public wifi connection for later installation after copying the files on one's desktop, I'm against the idea of reliance on a third party utility company in order to play a game, it's simply not practical, especially when most consumers are faced with the rising costs of utilities, food, housing etc, not to mention the stagnating wages more and more people are facing, world wide....
I mean really, steam and their ilk actually deters people from purchasing from them by actively blocking prospective consumers from access to their product, unless they purchase a third party monthly expense...
===================EDIT==================
I Just purchased the Humble bundle package, so all is well, though my thoughts on DRM still stand.
