Now that Diablo is out (super excited) it is time to bring another legend - THPS2 to GOG. This would make me wet
It won't happen. Why? Because of this:
The entire list of bands and songs to be featured in Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 is as follows:

Rage Against the Machine - Guerrilla Radio
Bad Religion - You
Anthrax/Public Enemy - Bring the Noise
Powerman 5000 - When Worlds Collide
Naughty by Nature - Pin the Tail on the Donkey
Papa Roach - Blood Brothers
The High & Mighty - B-Boy Document
Consumed - Heavy Metal Winner
Dub Pistols - Cyclone
Swingin' Utters - Five Lessons Learned
Styles of Beyond - Subculture
Millencolin - No Cigar
Alley Life featuring Black Planet - Out With the Old
Lagwagon - May 16
Fu Manchu - Evil Eye

they can always remove these songs from the game.
Quake was re-released on GOG without music, so that's probably not t he issue.

I think that music is not the only reason.

Lots of stuff from different skate brands were licensed too. I could be wrong, but some of these brands are not even exist anymore.

Reissue of games where most of the content is a various licensed things (music, brands, etc) is always complicated. Complicated, expensive and almost unprofitable.

Not to forget all the athletes with their respective sponsors that needs to get convinced. The only thing that probably wouldn't be an issue in the THPS games are the levels and the engine itself.

Just imagining having to re-negotiate licenses for music, brands, athletes and so on sounds almost impossible for a 20 year old game.

Speaking of which, I would offer a puppy to Satan if I could have NHL 98 on GOG.

Well shit, if we're doing pipe dreams... the Half Life and Portal series.

Sadly, that's probably more likely than THPS2.

But can they remove Tony Hawk though?

They can always re-name him Hony Tawk.
your forgetting that diablo is a blizzard product and THPS2 is an activision product, even though they are merged they still work seperatly o nthere own games

I can imagine the comments under the release thread already, in which the GOG forum elite expresses their joy over the release of a mutilated product.
Not to mention the three dozen threads that will be opened by individual users - only to do exactly the same.

;)

The licensing deal between Tony Hawk and activision expired in 2015.

There will always be people complain about something:)

Even if they removed the likenesses or music, there probably still would be legal issues deep down.
I loved THPS2 and 3 but have no hope. But on the subject of Activision I'd love the CoD War Chest to show up here.
