My guess for the first one is: Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30.
Agreeing that Across the Rhine is likely, but there is another possibility from Tommo's catalog: European Air War
Other games from Tommo usually are set in a different time (like World War I, which started 100 years ago on upcoming Monday) or more general like Command H.Q.

Phc7006: Nor is it an exact quote...
...less certain
That's why I pointed it out, the pig-latin quote doesn't seem to be skies particularly, BoB seems like a red herring from confusing the sky trails clue for the second game. That said, if Judas is trying to be more obtuse avoiding reference to 'The Few' would be a way to do it...

Because it's a Churchill quote, does that mean it's going to be a British theme? H&D would fit the British requirement. If we're just looking for WWII setting then the guesses could get pretty wild, how about:

Return to Castle Wolfenstein

I think a few people would pee their pants if that went on sale here, although I confess I have not played it myself.

JudasIscariot: This week's Enigmatic Hints! Yes, I am doing two this time due to the fact that ONE of them is rather tentative due to technical reasons so I am not sure if it may arrive :)

We-ay all-shay ight-fay for-ay out-ay ill-sway. We-ay all-shay ight-fay in-ay the ills-hay, we-ay all-shay ight-fay in-ay the ky-say. We-ay ill-way ever-nay urrender-say, we-ay ill-way ever-nay ive-gay up-ay.

Second hint you shall find attached :)
I'm going to take a wild guess and say that the first hint is IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover. I'm pretty sure that is its own game rather than part of the classic IL-2 Sturmovik series that is already on GOG.

The second hint is obviously Trails in the Sky. You really should be paying a bit more attention to the unofficially confirmed GOG releases thread, Judas. =P

IanM: Return to Castle Wolfenstein
That would be great if GOG could get ! Or even the original [url=http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/wolfenstein_3d]Wolf3D series! We need id Software games!
I bought wolf 3d. Would have been good if enigmatig T would have been Skeletor and his friend Hordak. Some sort of He-man stuff. Well.. Good luck to him, I liked that voice, gog-voice.

the -ay staccato would then be mimicking the performance issues encountered in Cliffs of Dover. The state of non-optimisation in which that game has been sold and then abandonned by the devs is and remains a disgrace

My ex-boyfriend the Space Tyrant* :) Or that Journey to... game :)

Actually a lot of it has been fixed and a lot of it is being fixed by Team Fusion.

Tentative you say, as in "Day of The"???

Best I could do, sorry.

True enough, community patches do help significantly. That doesn't excuse the couldn't care less attitude of 1C Maddox.

Maybe they aren't careless, fixes like these can only be made if the mod group has access to the sourcecode, which Maddox probably made available to Team Fusion.
But yes the launch of Cliffs of Dover was terrible even considering that most flightsimulators are in a pretty buggy state when launched.

no one has tried it yet? ok, so I think first is for Z Steel Soldiers and second is of course for Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky
