Even if the group was closed for spamming it doesn't change Valve telling the guy that they can't post any deals for stuff from other digital providers. If the group was closed because of spamming it should have stayed closed. Instead any spamming/mass inviting that happened before was forgiven as long as they only direct people to steam games.
