deathknight1728: News is really reached the point where its almost too crazy for its own good. We got a murderer killing cops in California and Charlie Sheen (yeah I know right) is going to broker a deal of money to this asshole. Since when does celebrity status start such craziness. The part where I look at this positively is ok Sheen is trying to be nice because the bad guy mentioned him. Thats nice but what difference does money make when he wont be able to spend it in jail.

This is one of the only things that again will only happen in America. Celebrities brokering deals with mass murderers, rofl. Its a good thing I have a great sense of humor. Otherwise, I'd end up crazy like all these other people.

orcishgamer: You're assuming Sheen isn't trying to help the police and using the perpetrator's obvious sympathy for him to ensnare him.

Of course, the LAPD is one of the most corrupt police forces in the nation and has been for at least 90 years. What amazes me is that no one else with a ruined life has snapped and started hunting bankers, cops, lawyers, or whoever they hate. You'd think with all out nutjobs and murderers this kind of situation with Dorner would have happened more often.

deathknight1728: I would say you are right and I am surprised this hasnt happened to a lawyer yet. The lawyers in this country are monstrosities. They represent and backup mass murderers and child killers and it is despicable.

In my opinion, you shouldnt be granted a trial for crimes that go such a horrific way. As I used to say in Geneforge-"Rogues have one purpose, they must be destroyed!"

deathknight1728: You gotta understand from my pov. My dad and mother had a divorce and met in court. The lawyer on my mother side had them make up false stuff just to make my dad look horrible and vice versa. There can be good lawyers, but I think that a lot of them are very based on making things up and making everything worse.

A lot of them can be ambulance chasers but some are alright. I dont know, I have a somewhat bias opinion and I find that the justice system in America is broken.

FraterPerdurabo: Ah, yeah in the UK (or at least E&W) that would constitute a gross breach of the SRA Code of Ethics. I think that it goes both ways really, i.e. the legal system is a reflection of the society and vice versa. Ambulance chasers are a very American thing, as is compensation culture with your triple damages and punitive damages. Maybe they wouldn't be there if you guys didn't have your foot-stomping I-want-my-rights culture.
