All-new gameplay footage with developer commentary + Q&A session on Twitch.tv/GOGcom!

This coming Monday, GOG.com and CD PROJEKT RED invite you to a special live streamed event at the GOG.com Twitch channel!

We'll be showcasing 15 minutes of completely fresh The Witcher: Wild Hunt gameplay highlights, while Damien Monnier - Senior Gameplay Designer, and Miles Tost - Level Designer, will be coming in live from the studio to provide developer commentary for the new footage. They'll be offering their insight, and an exclusive peek at the development process behind closed curtains at CD PROJEKT RED.

Once the gameplay commentary is finished, we will hold a live Q&A session on the air. Damien Monnier and Miles Tost will take the time to respond to live comments coming in via Twitch chat, as well as to select questions from the GOG.com community forums! It's a rare opportunity to ask about all the saucy details of The Witcher: Wild Hunt development.

If you have any questions for the folks at CD PROJEKT RED, you can submit them right here in this thread. You have until Sunday, Jan 25 at 7:00 PM GMT to submit your questions, when we'll be selecting the most interesting ones to throw at the devs during the live chat.

The live stream will begin on Monday Jan 26 7:00 PM GMT / 2:00 PM EST / 11:00 AM PST (you will find a countdown clock below) at Twitch.tv/GOGcom. Follow our channel for an e-mail alert when we go live. We'll see you there!

This is awesome guys. But I really wished you would do this on a weekend. Maybe I can sneak a peek while working.
Always 20:00 CET, always precisely at dinner time.
Question for the devs:

How much FPS and what graphics quality represents the Minimal and Recommended Requirements?

for example: minimal= lowest settings, 1080p@30fps
SOME SPOILERS FOLLOW

Honestly, I think the most prudent matter is whether or not I'll get to ride that Dragon that I spared at the end of Act 3 in Witcher 2. So before anything else...

Will I get to become Dragon Rider Geralt if I spared the Dragon in the end of Act 3 in Witcher 2?

Before I keep going, I just finished my first two playthroughs of both the Witcher 1 and 2 (Damn you to hell harpy egg, DAMN YOU TO HELL!) and so there may have been things I have missed.

I would like to know if we will we be seeing any of the characters that didn't make the cut from the Witcher 1 to 2, such as Shani, Kalkstein, the Lady of the Lake and the Vodyanoi?

I'm probably in the minority here, but I'd like to see whats been happening with characters like Kalkstein, Shani and the Lady of the Lake, to name a few. What happened to Kalkstein's research into the participle theory and the group of scientists he associates with in general? And what about Shani? I'd like to see her reaction to seeing you with Triss, especially so if you chose Shani over Triss in Witcher 1 (Although I don't know one person who did on their first time through Witcher 1... xD). Maybe we could find some of the Lady's Knights? I believe she stated they died, but ghosts and wraiths aren't exactly out of the question in the Witcher games, are they? Put some killer rabbits into the mix and you've got a mighty fine quest chain. ;D

Would also VERY MUCH like to go back to Vizima and the places we visited during the course of the Witcher 2, seeing the true impact of our choices from the 1st game. Any plans for this?

Think it would be great riding up to Vizima, and either seeing busy village or a ghost town filled with loathing citizens depending on your choice in regards to the Abigail issue. Did the city turn into a frivolous staging area for the Order of the Blazing Hand or did it fall into chaos after Foltest's death? REALLY want to see Vizima! I didn't spend 45hrs saving the ass of that place just to never go back again! xD

My question:

Will Mantle API be supported sometime in the future?
My questions:

Will the decisions what we made in the previous games have some effecet on the witcher 3's story?

How will the crafting work?

Will there be predownload on the gog for the witcher 3? (or the gog servers are strong enough to deal with the lot of downloads:)

In future will there be big story dlcs which we must pay for?
Hope you guys can record the video and a resume of the Q&A too. Unable to assist streaming in my workplace
Here is my question,
Story-wise, does the game follow and build on the same emotional bond between Geralt and Ciri that was in the books or have things changed after her return? So to Ciri, is Geralt still his father or is she on her own now?
high rated
My question: It's possible to further clarify the Alchemy System? How it will work, if the potions will or not replenish when geralt meditates or if we will have to gather more herbs to make more
I second SpeeX97's question:

Could you please elaborate more on the system requirements for the pc version?

What minimum requirements imply in terms of resolution and framerate? 900p 30fps with low settings?
What about recommended requirements? 1080p 60fps with most high settings?

We would be glad to know.
Hello,

first of all, a big thank you for the game series. I'm reading the novel and I'm loving how you're carrying this on.

Will you ever release something like a small demo or tool that allows us to actually better understand how the game will work on our PCs? Minimum specs are very high and I've not really understand how with those specs the game will run. Lowest settings? 30pfs? 1080p? I'm definitely scared, really.

Will you use in the future something like DirectX 12 to help performance?

And what about all the choices made in the previous games, especially in the final chapter of the second one? Will they have an impact on the story?

Oh, and why is Geralt an old blonde guy and Ciri has white hair when Geralt should be totally white-haired and Ciri blonde ashen? :P

Are you going to make it possible, to import saves/decisions from Assassin's Kings (PC) to the Wild Hunt on PS4? Or perhaps some system, that the players will be able to choose, which decisions they've made in the previous games?
Are there any chances that you will revive Emiel Regis, he was a great character in books. Maybe in DLC's?
I have a question: when can we expect for this game to be fairly-priced? :P
