Hello everyone,

today we are releasing an update for the game.

Changelog:


Added Axis Operations 1944 campaign

Improved hero assignment interface:

The list now has three columns
Heroes are sorted by name
There is a textbox to quickly search heroes by name or trait
Hero assignment is now also available directly from main screen, via GUI button or H hotkey. Toggle map names has been reassigned to Ctrl+H hotkey.
Added a GUI button (next to End Turn) to speed up AI turns (a GUI equivalent of Space hotkey). Holding Space now temporarily inverts the GUI option.
Added a command to mass-rebase all aircraft from one base to another. Just hold Shift when clicking rebase target as usual.



Rule changes:

When rebasing aircraft, rebase distance is now calculated from old base to new base, not from the current position of the aircraft
Air units can no longer detect camouflaged units on the ground. Recon planes detect such units only if flying directly over them



Editor:

Units now have an additional parameter "Starting Location" which can be set to "Map", "Undeployed List" or "Reserve". This allows creating scenarios with pre-populated undeployed and reserve lists.
Implemented a fix for freezes when selecting and moving aircraft
Fixed crash between missions related to "Old Guard" player trait
Added more german names and surnames for random heroes
Added more german camouflage patterns
Various other small fixes and improvements

Modding

- Covered Bridge mod: when snapping a house from the “Covered bridge” monument to one of the nodes on the “Center” parts, if you didn’t attach it on your first try, you wouldn’t be able to snap the house to any nodes
- Livestock Farms mod: some buildings showed up twice in the building parts list
- Ruins mod: loading it would cause an instant crash

Here's what we've fixed in update 1.04.

Keybinding & controls settings

- Added customizable key binding for both controller types, keyboard, and mouse.
- You can now jump without hitting the dodge button while dashing/running.
- Joysticks controls can now be used in the full-screen interfaces.

Camera

- Added new camera modes in the System Preferences.
- Added camera distance adjustment bar in the System Preferences.

QoL Improvements

- Opening the system menu now pauses the game.
- You will now always be re-spawned with salts filled to 5 at any conduit.
- You can now perform weapon techniques while dashing.
- The time required to skip a death scene has been reduced.
- You will not be attacked when looting the chest.
- Resting at the conduit or dying in the game will now automatically move the salve from the vault to your bag.
- You no longer lose stamina by dashing when not in combat.
- Added the maximum number of looted chests for game records in the Archive.
- Reduced the number of attack counts you need to hit the magic-breakable items.
- Improved Hilda's on-hit animation and effects.
- Improved the enemy's on-hit effects.
- Hilda's hitbox size has been adjusted to fit the model boundaries better.

Should be the one from November 7th on Steam. I guess this patch will just remove the Halloween theme.

More interesting is that they forgot to update Galaxy. So Galaxy users have to download the offline patch to update the game. xD

This is extremely interesting since this would mean that they used the "old" and slow way to forward the files to GOG instead of directly uploading them using the Galaxy backend.
