Overload has been updated again from version 1.0.1834 to version 1.0.1839. Also it seems the 32bit installer has been removed completely.
Patch 1.0.1839 (04 July 2018)

Two changes were made to data saved for NG+ after completing the game:

* Level 2 upgrades (Super Upgrade points) are undone and the upgrade
points are refunded. This allows the player to choose different
Level 2 upgrades when starting the NG+ game.

* Values will only be updated if they are better than the values saved
from the player's previous run(s).

Updated Rewired input manager, providing support for 3Dconnexion devices such as Space Mouse, Space Explorer, Space Navigator, etc.

Fixes

• Fixed the problem with user levels not working on Linux.
• NG+ now works add-on missions.
• Add-on levels are ignored if they have the same name as an existing level.
• The correct ending is now played for Cronus NG+.
• Fixed survivor pickup error when there was no story text (which could happen in an add-on level).
• Removed anti-cheat detector warning messages that in certain cases caused performance issues.
• Fix Save/Load issue with Flak range finder.
• Player is no longer warned about skipping upgrades if all upgrades have been applied.
• Fixed the orange sky in Phoebe Complex.
• Fixed the flickering light at the start of Level 6.
• Fixed problem of upgrades disappearing in add-on missions.

"Sorry for the delay! We've been working hard on the GOG version since the Steam update last week. Unfortunately, a few bugs were discovered in the Steam build that we published, and we've spent the week trying to squash those - so that the GOG version can be free of bugs at launch. It shouldn't be long now - I'd be very surprised if QA doesn't green light this before the weekend."

So no, it's not GOGs fault and the reason for the delay imo is worth waiting for the update as well :)
Guess that means they're very surprised by now, then... :(

They (GOG) simply cannot update the game until they received the update. But the devs are pretty quick in replying. Since the update still has not arrived I will contact them again to see when this will finally be the case.

Edit: Done and waiting :)

Edit 2: They replied and yes, the update is here since last week. At this momet it's only on Galaxy. Already talked to GOG they missed the update (which was pushed directly through the devs to Galaxy) and so the offline installers are not updated yet. BUT they are fixing this asap.

Edit 3: GOG staff said they will ping the right people because of Sundered tomorrow - so offline installers should be updated soon as well.

#### Update 2.0 (5th July 2018)

* The OOB game breaker (when your character warps out of bounds on the world map)

* If this has already broken in your save when you load it will automatically give you the new location (so as to retroactively fix the issue)
* When Player 2 found the first sticker of the game it would result in the game hanging. No longer!
* You can't remove Player 2 during a conversation any more as it leads to weird issues with the camera
* In co-op, if both players have a cat, a basket should only accept one of them
