seppelfred: I'm not receiving any notifivcations for updates for a while now. Without this thread I'd be missing those updates. Am I the only one with this problem?
Nope. It's the same for everyone. GOG's notifications have never worked properly, hence this thread. They should probably take a cue from the work done here and do it themselves (GOG that is).

kbnrylaec: I just checked them.
They are not changed (like recent other non-changes-but-only-update-the-file-date).
Thought so, but didn't have the time to check them. Thanks for doing it and reporting! :)

Apart from that, and as usual on a weekend, there's been next to no update activity, except for one little thing: Hollow Knight no longer recommends only 8MB or RAM on any OS. :P

Since those flags often dont work and sometimes one might miss an entry here as well I do recommend to use the Adalia Fundamentals script. It has many, many good things to offer - one of them being the possibility to sort the library by last update.

Again not worth an update flag?

Tannath: Again not worth an update flag?
Obviously not - I did not receive one either. With GOG fixating more and more on the "optional" Galaxy client I whonder if there will be a time wen we won't receive any flags anymore at all because Galaxy simply does not need them. As I said before: I am glad using Adalia Fumdamentals script. Sorting library to last updated is a great help when you try to keep your backups up to date and missed something here.

Adalia Fumdamentals script is based on Galaxy data, so there are some false positive for offline installers.

It is quite useful, but I also want to know what is really changed, so this thread is even more useful for me.

I agree - it's not 100% perfect in that regard but so far I did not notice many bugs in this feature. I still do use this thread (as said) but in addition to it I use adalia's script. So I rarely miss any update at all. To make it clear: it weas not my attention to say that this thread is not useful anymore - of course it is. I was only suggesting to use the script in addition (and because of the many other features it offers).

Thanks again. :)

I could check the first Eschalon myself, which is the only one of those games that I own here on GOG. Now all that remains is for someone to check Gods Will Be Watching to confirm a whole new round of useless Linux-specific update notifications. :P

I scripted gogrepo to run every morning. I run the update, then do a -dryrun of the download and filter out all lines containing "pass".

With large libraries it takes forever, but at least I don't miss out on anything. :) It processes about 2 games per minute, so my 180 game library takes about 90 minutes. (This is presumably due to GOG blocking IP's that do requests too quickly.) Since I schedule them to run an hour before I get up in the morning, I usually don't notice the wait.

Curious, has there been any update reported by AF that MaGog has missed?
I'm thinking about something : is there a way (with Adalia maybe ?) to export your library in a .txt file or an .ods ?

There are two ways I know of, one is using AF, the other using MaGog. Be advised, however, that using AF will include a lot more info about each game than its title, like game ID and the position it's listed in your library, while using MaGog will list unbundled games as they are sold on the store, hence your library will seem smaller.

1. Using AF:
Open AF from your account tab, choose "Manual Sort", click on "Export Sort Order", open a text file, and paste.

2. Using MaGog:
Go to MaGog, and click on the "Get from GOG" button. Read the instructions on the page that will open, and skip steps #6-9.
After this is done, go back to the front page of MaGog, untick everything not relevant in the "Scope" section, select "My Tags" in the "Filters" section (scroll down in the drop-down menu), choose "is all of" and "owned" in the the two options that open. Then click on the "Clear All" button in the "Display" section, and finally the "Search" button. Your collection will display in a separate window/tab. Select and copy all of it, open a text file, and paste.

Edit either file as desired.

Unfortunately, that's not a feasible solution for me because my library currently has 1295 games... which would mean I'd have to rediscover all of the tunings mrkgnao came up to keep GOG happy with MaGOG.
