Are the Stronghold language packs supposed to lack a digital signature?

Bottom.

Didn't realize it wouldn't show if it a PDF viewer was already installed. I swear it showed up when I had one installed before...

DyNaer: ok my list got a massive update (it's almost the double now T_T)
Yeah, and for Stronghold HD, the installer size has gone from 615MB to 726MB, without the version number changing. Now, seriously, that can't just be changing the GOG advert images as it is a massive 111MB increase in size.

EDIT: Ah, I think it might be that the language packs are now all included in the installer. The same appears to have happened for Stronghold Crusader HD which has gone from 802MB to 962MB.

no idea, they managed to compress all language pack for only 111 MB more .???, since one language pack is around 200 MB) , that's possible , but no notification :( (ah yes, it's a so minor change , we don't need to know)

So wait, Foxit Reader isn't included anymore? REALLY?

I HATED that piece of buggy garbage when I tried using it years ago. How could someone create an even WORSE reader than Adobe's own bloatware? I couldn't believe it, and yet, it happened!

It's still included, it just doesn't ask if you want it if you already have a pdf reader.

You might want to try it again. I've been using it for a couple of years and it easily beats Adobe. No competition there.

I tried hard but eventually went back to Adobe, because it lacks the zoom functionally of Adobe. In Adobe when you switch zoom level with your mousewheel it will insert a fit page step.
It's annoying in Foxit when you start in fit page mode, zoom in to check out a section in detail and then zoom out again to find it zoom out too far because they use only fixed percentage steps. Forcing you to press fit page icon to optimize your screen utilization again.

I don't know about the other Language packs, but the German one has a digital signature. Although it is broken one without a timestamp (just confirmed it by re-download, still broken)

FoxIt is not really better than the Adobe Reader, use SumatraPDF instead. This application is way smaller and (after loading the PDF) way better suited for PDF reading. In addition it also can read Comic Book Archives (*.CBR/*.CBZ) too.

Perhaps GOG talks with the author to include this pdf reader.

Definitely agree with you, I think I accidentally installed it off one of GOG's games but when I opened it up and it didn't take two minutes to open I was sold, it didn't come with an annoying updater either so that was a mighty fine plus.

I don't use PDFs often so it works just fine for my needs; I just want something quick and light and it's perfect for that.

since the game got a massive increase in size ; they maybe integrated all languages packs in the installer or got a version with all language inclueded. So it would explain the broken certificate ,...

but the languages packs are still avaible as download , i hardly see the update concerning only the small installer change...
