Psyringe: I clicked on the game, clicked on the "Mac" tab, clicked on the installer, and then canceled the download before it started. The update notification is now gone.

What would that be? An empty screen? ;)

tinyE: Hey, they censored Carmageddon!
Who censored Carmageddon? I have the GOG version and it definitely has the red blood and people.

Maybe tinyE was referring to the general censorship of the game when it came out :D. Our vesion is most definitely uncensored :D

Unless you add "-robots" or "-zombies". Do I recall the flags correct?

I think those flags only work for the Splat Pack missions, whilst the main game is only the red blooded people. I've not tried to play with zombies or robots, though, so I could be wrong.

OOOPS

GOG DID NOT CENSOR CARMAGEDDON!!!
There was a censored version released and I was referring to that. GOG never has and never would do such a nasty horrible thing and I apologize for all the gore fanatics who may have been led astray in their opinion of GOG as a result of my irresponsible wording.

JudasIscariot: *snip*
On the subject of updates, why is the Mac installer for Postal 2 119MB larger than the Windows one? Does it actually contain more stuff, or does the Mac installer just not compress very well?

Mac Installer are in uncompressed dmg format; just drag & drop to launch the game.

How exceedingly stupid. Oh well, it is Mac, after all ;-)

No, the DMG is most certainly compressed, the uncompressed content is just over 2 GB.
The slight difference is most likely due to differences in the manner of compression and some differences in packaging.

The flags are correct but I really don't know why you'd want to use those :D. Half the fun is seeing those grandmas go into turbo mode with their walkers :D

When you have completed the entire game, having different stuff like the opponents' cars or new victims may be of interest for replays. Exploring all the maps is something you can do since the very beginning.

So, did Eador update to 0 MB? :P

Edit: Looks fixed now, maybe just a bug on my end? :o

Nope, it's still saying 0MB for me as well. Weird.

It is an updated patcher and the patch notes are in the game's forum.
