Since you are already checking for updated installers, may I ask you to also updeate the when you find an updated one? I was trying to maintain it, but I halted when the v2 installers came out, since I wasn't getting any notifications. There is also a similar [url=http://www.gogwiki.com/wiki/GOG.com_Updates]changelog to this thread in the wiki, feel free to update that one as well.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask either here or on #gog at quakenet and someone will help you.

I will see what I can do, but can't guarantee anything. Thanks that all gog installers starts with setup_ and includes the version numbers I have now a nice list including file names, sizes, version numbers and the time of my last update. I can use these informations to update some games, only making checksums is kind of problematic (total commander doesn't want to use my filter list for this). I will check the wiki-page maybe later today or tomorrow and see how I can add that informations

You might want to take a look here. The files in the OP contain information (size and checksums) for 487 games. It's up-to-date to two weeks ago. Next version will be in two weeks' time.
What changed with SpaceChem? The old v1 installer was only 107MB, but the new v2 installer is 307MB!!!
I really, really wish there was a way to tell the downloader to check all the files I have. Or at least a documented API so others can build such tools -_-
Don't know if I missed it but Anomaly and Gemini Rue where also updated.
I've no idea if it was mentioned already but I noticed it only few minutes ago:

Blackwell Bundle
King of Dragon Pass
Botanicula
Machinarium
Geneforge 1-5
GOG has told me the main reason they don't flag the updates is it would be annoying to see all those update notifications. I disagree, but I can see the reasoning behind it.

I think it's also to save some bandwidth. The old installers are just fine, showing there are updates let's everybody start downloading while in most cases there is really no need to. So, while I can see they don't want to give a notice for every little update there would be still the option to make a thread with all the updates and changelogs.

I would prefer to be able to decide myself whether updates annoy me or not ...

I agree with your disagreement.

I agree with both of you. :P If we could get to opt-in on getting update notifications that would be good. Is there a wish for this feature?
I digged thread and find nothing I don't know it's new or not but Jagged Alliance 2: Unfinished Business updated .

I agree. I would like an automatic check if the installer is uptodate and a replacement on request if not. I like these wishes:
