This thread aims to centralize the numerous bugs affecting the website.

It would be nice if you could report them in the following way:
Subject of the problem & a short description, [Support Ticket: Yes / No]

Also if a problem gets resolved please post it here :-)

I'll collect all the problems here in the first post and update the status accordingly.

001 - The updated filter in library has a delay of 10-30mins compared to the update notification in the account menu. [Support Ticket: No]

002a - [April 2016] - The "I can't find a solution for my problem" links on the support page are broken for games with a different ID (removed, unbundled, kickstarter edition etc) and just lead back to the main page. Details - [Support Ticket: Yes]
002b - [May 2015] - In addition games with a different ID (removed, unbundled, kickstarter edition etc) don't receive update notifications and some don't appear as owned in the catalogue. Details - [Support Ticket: Yes]

004 - [June 2016] - If a thread has more staff posts than one page (when only viewing these posts in a thread), it is not possible to go and read the next page of staff responses since you are redirected to the actual thread pages without the filter. Details - [Support Ticket: No]

005 - Downloader link "All Extras" does not include the extras from DLCs for some games. Known cases: Sword of the Stars Gold Edition, Wasteland 2 Digital Classic Edition - [Support Ticket: No]

006 - [September 2015] - Database does not update correctly for some username changes (most of them containing an "_"). Trying to open chat or wishlist leads to the 404 error page. Details. Known cases: Empress_Owl, Painted_Doll, Emachine9643 - [Support Ticket: Yes, but that only fixed the problem for TT_TT_TT_TT]

007 - [October 2015] - On some games support page the "Help from the community" links are a bunch of random links to threads in the General Forum. Details - [Ticket: No]

008 - [May 2015] - Linking to specific posts is broken in threads where several posts were deleted because they were reported as spam. Details - [Ticket: ?]

009 - Mismatched quote tags break the thread alignment. Can happen because the forum does not check for tags with capital letters. Example - [Ticket: ?]

014 - [August 2016] - Sorting games in the catalogue breaks when using a name filter in addition. Details - [Ticket: ?]

020 - [November 2016] - Logging in with your account always redirects you to the mainpage. Details - [Ticket: ?]

021 - [January 2017] - Online status of the chat only works when using galaxy not when using a browser. Details - [Ticket: ?]

027 - [May 2017] - Community wishlist graphic problems. Details - [Ticket: ?]

029 - [Sep. 2017] - Creating forum threads freezes, gets stuck but topics are created. Details

Broken for Arma: Cold War Assault, Space Rangers 2: Reboot and XIII. "I can't find solution for my problem" links for each of them lead back to main support page. Just checked, and "I can't find solution for my problem" is broken for me.

One other thing that's broken:

If a topic has a lot of posts, and enough of those posts are blues, then the following doesn't work as it should (assuming first page displayed first in settings):
1. Click on the exclamation point by the topic to open the first page of blue responses
2. Where it says "Pages", click on the last page

Using the "what did just update" thread as an example, after clicking for page 91 of the blue posts:

Expected behavior: Actually getting page 91 (the last one) of the blue posts

Actual behavior: Getting page 91 of the entire topic, without the filter applied. (This is almost certainly *not* what you want here.)

Note that this only happens for bigger topics.

The "I can't find solution for my problem" link is broken for:

Alright. Thing is, the problem before was about not working support link on the game in the library. That seems to be fixed. What you report is a different problem, which I think also exists for unbundled games (or at least did). Will check that and then add it to the OP.

Okay. Well those links worked for every game i tested. And the other problem exist for unbundled games too. Just gave it a try with some (Act of War and the Avernum games). Can confirm that for both Sword of the Stars: The Pit and Wasteland 2. The Downloader link ignores the Gold Edition Extras and the Wasteland 2 Digital Classic Edition extras (might be a problem with my library though as the Wasteland 2 Digital Classic Edition is not shown as owned in store).

I think didn't know about this bug. Well, at least some things are fixed.

I thinks that it could be possible to merge 002 and 004 as they're probably caused by the same thing - different/changed/whatever IDs. Gydion, in linked thread, wrote that the issue from 004 affects any game with a different ID then the one available to purchase (removed games, kickstarter editions, replaced non-HD versions, different extras, etc.)

Oh, that's what you meant. Then yes, those are broken, I was just checking whether the support link from library led anywhere.

And yep, same behavior for the unbundled ones I checked too (M&M1-6).

It's my bad, I had no idea that those were broken at some point.

I listed them seperately because I think the update notification problem is not affecting unbundled games, I think these get proper notifications. But I might be wrong about that.

I'm afraid you're wrong - unbundled games don't get proper update notifications, it's been discussed multiple times in the "What did just update" thread, as well as the original "What did just break" thread.

I'll merge the two issues.

One more thing is that not all games with different IDs in one's library show as not owned on the respective game pages. For example, while I haven't received a single update notification for Wasteland 2, it is labelled as owned in the game catalogue and on its game page.

Thanks for continuing this. I would separate these again. I didn't even see the more important broken support ticket link bug (which, btw, has had multiple tickets sent in by others) the first time reading through the post. Not to mention, while related, they are different bugs which will almost certainly require different patches to unrelated bits of code on GOG's side. The server at that IP is now using a correct SSL cert.
