As of today, the demo of The Universim will no longer be available for download. Crytivo has decided to remove it across all storefronts, as it has become outdated. However, an updated version of The Universim will be available for purchase on GOG this August, which promises to surprise fans both new and old. Keep an eye out.

Linko90: The demo for Universim will be leaving our storefront. Crytivo Games deem the demo to be an inaccurate representation of what the full game will offer upon its release in late August. Hence its removal from GOG.com and all other storefronts.
Is this also going to be removed from users' libraries? I'm asking because the download link is no longer working (always times out).

Edit: Forget about it. It works again. Probably just a server hiccup that fixed itself within a few minutes.

Well, that seems like no great loss.

How inaccurate? Will the full game offer less or more features than the demo? ;-)
Thanks for the heads up Linko!
Grabbed the demo to check what is all about.

This is a screenshot from the finished full game.

I take this to mean it's no longer coming soon to the In Dev program (despite the fact that a quick search shows it still has the "In Dev" logo), but is just a regular old "coming soon"?
"Bought" it, along with 18 other demos that didn't previously have.

Now all I need to know is why I did that, as I will with 99,9% certainty never play any of those demos.

Because it was free and it is hard to resist free stuff!

The full game is still coming, don't worry!

I wasn't worried. :P I just think the "In Dev" label should be removed from the game's entry in the catalogue. It's been confusing and misleading for some time, but now it's just straight-up wrong.
I think threads about leaving of some game should be marked by dot icon in other color (maybe black or gray?). The green one is easy to omit.

I have no clue how many times I asked about marking The G-Team posts to make them more visible..
At the bottom of the forum page we have four different spots, there is even special reddish one for announcements.
Any chance to make it work Linko?

It would be a fair amount of work, as anything is with behind the scenes stuff, but i have forwarded it as i do with all sensible feedback.
