Just a quick thanks to Wurtzelcraft for gifting his Wasteland 1 code and allowing me to pick Dwarfs!? from some steam keys after I missed out on his quickie giveaway. A very kind-hearted gesture.

Thanks to trentonlf for picking up Tier 1 of the Humble Weekly Bundle and letting me get the two Rome-themed games! I hope you enjoy Airline Tycoon 2! I'll be gifting Disciples 3 to steamgifts.

I've been so blessed of late!

I want to thank pablodusk for the unexpected gift of Gone Home. He saw it on my wish list in the trading thread, and because he "ended up with an extra copy," he gave it to me.

IAmSinistar gave me both The Bridge and Residue: Final Cut (not to mention the sudden gift of Escape Goat!) recently, all of which I was thrilled to receive. I haven't had a chance to try Residue yet, but I've got it downloaded, and am looking forward to it!

Foxworks gifted L.A. Noire to me because he saw that it was high, high on my wishlist, and it was a touching and timely gesture, as I was incredibly stressed at the time.

I won Lifeless Planet in a giveaway by Enebias, another game which I really want to play, and because of the kindness of niniendowarrior entering BillyMaysFan's giveaway, I won Silver (which I had given up on ever owning!)

So many acts of kindness; they always makes me glow with happiness -- I love seeing it, whether it's directed at me or someone else (and this is the reason why this topic is a favorite of mine).

Thank you all so much! ♥
I've registered on GOG about a year ago, I think at that time the Fallout games were offered for free, the next weekend GOG offered almost all Unreal games for a bargain....long story short I have acquired quite the GOG collection here. I didn't visit the forum until the summer sale began, but the rest is history. Many lovely people here, many grown up conversations, almost no trolling or stupid banter, many selfless giveaways and people helping each other out. I don't have that much time, but when I can I check the forum out to see what's happening and gather some news.
A big thank you to a lot of people that make this place so special:

IAmSinistar, BillyMaysFan59, xckx , foxworks, real.geizterfahr, Ragnarblackmane, Coelocanth, Wurzelkraft, SilensPoetae, triock, akhliber, Tarhiel, Tarnicus, LynetteC, AquaticIdealist, RWarehall, ZFR, Oathe, madth3, Rodzaju... and surely many more that I can't think of from the top of my head

Not surprisingly, many of those people have been nominated in the Thank the Fellows Giveaway that ddickinson is running, but I see several names there that I don't recognize! It would be great to see them nominated for the giveway... *hint hint* ;D
Right now I would like to give a BIG thanks to Barefoot_Monkey for his work on Barefoot Essentials. Not only does that useful tool restore color to the site, it also brings in lots of nice improvements. Kudos!

Just came to express the exact same thanks! Thanks Berfoot_Monkey for all your hard work and dedication, without you it'd have been almost unbearable to visit this place!! :-D

I owe a lot of thanks to a good number of folks here, still working on that post. ;-)
I'd like to thank IAmSinistar because thanks to him I got two games in a row.
I have finished the first one and I am into the second.
I've never gotten two games from the same person.......
I woke to find two gifts for me this morning! ♥

Exanthrope sent me a link to Storm, which I was looking for in the trading thread, and HypersomniacLive decided that it was "Pretty inexcusable that you have yet to roam the secluded Mount Grimrock" *giggles* (Legend of Grimrock)

Thank you both very much! What a wonderful start to my day! :D
Right now I'd like to thank tinyE for being a humorous presence on this forum, and an expert at thread derailing. :D
There are a few people (Linux users) that I think deserve a shout-out here.

Kudos to:

shmerl, ssokolow
For having an extensive knowlege of Linux and being very helpful on that subject. I've seen these guys offering lots of useful Linux-related information on these forums and helping other users.

Sude
For working on the lgogdownloader client. It's made downloading GOG games with bonus content on Linux a lot easier for me.
Just a thank you to foxworks for never making me feel like an outsider or a noob on these forums, despite only having started posting here since the Summer Insomnia Sale. An extra thanks because I know it also isn't just because of my generosity with giving games away.

Pfft anyone that made / makes you feel like an outsider. You are a part of the GOG family and everyone that respects you and your opinions is what matters, not the games you so graciously gift. I am very happy to be able to have our conversations. You make me smile and happy and I need that. You are a good honest person that calls it as it is. You also do not get the credit you deserve. I thank you for being my friend.

What Sage said. I think she put it very nicely and I completely agree with her. As I have said to you before, there are people here who appreciate you, not just for your generosity but for your conversations and honesty. While you may not get the credit you feel you deserve, you are still respected by people on here.
