Well, since we're called GOG not Good Old Games now I don't think it will ever grace it.

On a more serious note, seeing the stance of EA towards having its own platform and such; I find the probability is shrinking. You'll be more likely to see it pop up for free for a limited time on Origin, me thinks.

That's the title of the old thread, I kept it as is since I didn't start it originally.

I don't care about Origin and will never use it, same as any other DRMed service. And EA should really be interested in more sales - they only gain by releasing their games as widely as possible.

Meanwhile, please vote for those items if you didn't yet.

shmerl: snip
sure thing :)
I only suggested that because I've actually seen a few old titles go up for free for a limited time on Origin. No payment required. Even a game that we GOGers had to pay for.... and now I can't remember what it's called.
With Armikrog out, there should be more interest generated for the Neverhood. So a reminder - if you didn't yet, please vote to push EA to release the Neverhood on GOG. See the first post for details.
Voted
Let's hope for the best.
I'm a bit surprised that they haven't already brought it here. The Neverhood was made by Dreamworks which is now Danger Close Games a subsidiary of EA.

It can't possibly be a lack of demand or a lack of GOG asking for it. It just seems really odd that a publisher that has games here would hold that one back.

The same could be said for other games that EA hasn't released here yet, like American McGee's Alice, Black & White, or Command & Conquer.

No arguments there. Are either Alice or Black & White still available for sale? I know know that C&C has been recently, if not still.

No Black & White anywhere (aside a Mac version), but American McGee's Alice was available temporarily as a gift with preorders of Alice: Madness Returns. In addition, Amazon sells an Origin code for both games.

I'll have to consider getting that. It's not a particularly bad price compared with what I've spent on other old games.

And of course in the GOG wishlist: https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/the_neverhood
50 votes on change.org. I think we can do better.
Sure. If we change it to dull and lifeless grand strategy game with lots of beige, GOG will accept it instantly.
i think it will since it is going to be supported by SCUMMVM.
