It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all). We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera
rong44: Me either. I would probably hang on to my portion of the code and give it to the highest bidder. Only drawback is you wouldn't be getting anything from your top 4
I rather see myself just getting tired of too much talking about trading with no result and just give away my portion to someone. Good that I am not in this (good for wpegg, at least).
wpegg: I think you underestimate how nasty this has the potential to get. While I can verify that a code is not valid, a person could only ask me that question after the trade was completed. So they would have lost their key for free. The only reason to validate is so that you know you have a legit key, and so that you know that the person cannot be trusted in future.
Well this sounds truly awful. I found most of GOG community to be really good and trustworthy - one of the reasons I hang out here. I surely would not want to face a situation of testing and mistrusting others for game codes - I have enough suspicions in my life already. But I guess some people might enjoy it, so let them (and you) have much fun.
This does sound quite nasty. Backstabbing and lying to get the game you've wanted to play for so long or keep to your morals and tell the truth perhaps losing the game. It is positively evil. I'm actually glad that none of these games were on my most wanted list.
Well, this will be interesting at least. It may come down to two people making a deal to split titles. Or maybe one person will give another person both code pieces in exchange for another game down the line if that person wins two titles.

He got this idea from someone in ninja giveaway who was it again?
I already had the idea brewing. You really don't want to know the screwed up stuff that goes through my head. This one was actually workable, so I played it. I have so many more ideas, it's just a problem that they're insane!
I'd just like to mention to everyone before the contest begins that I do have some copies of The Ship (both single and multiplayer) and Terraria on Steam. If anyone gets a Thief 2 code segment and is interested in one of these, I'd be happy to trade one of them.

ninja'ing the giveaway - fairly cool. :)
livefree: He got this idea from someone in ninja giveaway who was it again?
Not really - that was wpegg's idea initially. He wanted to do just that with Witcher2 code on his final ninja giveaway. I did discuss it, but mainly in terms of pointing out "why" it is a bad idea and "why" it will not work. I was even distracted enough to forget input the code in time. Anyway, apparently my criticism has served as an input to implement the idea nevertheless. The giveaway from wpegg I personally liked the most so far was for Syberia. PS By the way, wpegg, I would suggest you PM the potential participants first so that they know they are selected. Some might not come into this thread for some time.
