UPDATE: Thank you everyone. Through your help, I have recovered all my lost goodies,

Two weeks ago, my external HDD died and I lost all my GOG backups. Since I had only one copy, it's all gone. Most of it is no big deal, as I can download it all again, just as soon as I buy a new HDD (next week, I promise).

However, among the lost items were 19 extras (bonuses, goodies) that GOG had removed from our libraries over the years, and therefore can no longer be downloaded. It has crossed my mind that some of you old timers here might have some of these still lying around in your backups (perhaps not even aware that they had been removed) and would be willing to send me a copy to allow me to recover my library.

Here is the list:
1) 7th Guest, The --- help sheet [the_7th_guest_manual.zip]
2) Anodyne --- soundtrack with two more tracks [anodyne_soundtrack.zip]
3) Atlantis: The Lost Tales --- soundtrack [Atlantis_the_lost_tales_OST.zip]
4) Atlantis 2: Beyond Atlantis --- soundtrack [Atlantis_2_soundtrack.zip]
5) Battle Chess Special Edition --- three manuals [battle_chess_manuals.zip]
6) Black Mirror 3 --- manual (Italian) [bm_3_manual_it.zip]
7) Forgotten Realms: The Archives - Collection Two --- Pool of Radiance pdf code wheel [pool_of_radiance_code_wheel.zip]
8) Jagged Alliance 2 --- German manual [jagged_alliance_2_ger.zip]
9-10) LEGO Batman: The Videogame --- avatars [lego_batman_avatars.zip] + wallpaper [lego_batman_wallpaper.zip]
12-13) LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 --- avatars [lego_harry_potter_yrs_5_7_avatars.zip] + wallpaper [lego_harry_potter_yrs_5_7_wallpaper.zip]
11) LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 --- wallpaper [lego_harry_potter_yrs_1_4_wallpaper.zip]
14) Little Big Adventure 2 (Twinsen's Odyssey) --- poster [lba2_poster.zip]
15) Redneck Rampage Collection --- slightly different manual [rr_collection_manual.zip]
16) Soldiers: Heroes of World War II --- wallpapers [soldiers_howw2_wallpaper.zip]
17) Two Worlds Epic Edition --- artworks including sketches [two_worlds_Artworks.zip]
18-19) Uplink: Hacker Elite --- developer cd [uplink_developer_cd.zip] + soundtrack [uplink_soundtrack.zip]

P.S. Please note the specific filenames mentioned above, since in some cases GOG removed the item, but replaced with a similarly-named yet somewhat poorer version.

P.P.S. I'm pretty sure sooner or later someone will raise the question, so I'll answer ahead of time: No, I don't see anything wrong with what I'm asking.

Apologies for suggesting the obvious, but you've looked online already? For the first one, I found this:

https://www.oldgames.sk/en/game/7th-guest-the/download/1426/

...which has a manual and strategy guide. No idea if they're the precise file you want. I don't have any of the games you list, so sorry for your dead drive, wish you luck in getting the copies you're looking for.
Just a question. Could you please bother to explain, analyze and present, when how and WHY, did gog remove those items? Law of the land said: "You buy it, you keep it". And one of the main "bragging points" of gog over services like steam, was supposedly this very tenet.

If retroactive removal of content you own and legally purchased, in a store which promotes consumer-friendly policies such as this is a thing, then WTF have we all been celebrating for and fanatically supporting, all those years? Is GOG=an inferior Steam clone a thing, yet?

That being said, allow me to also kindly request for the notorious song(s) (tradidional polish, removed for supposed "copyrights" by a local person who didn't own sheet) removed from the Witcher 3, too. I lost it for a similar reason to yours. Anyone kind enough to aid, would be more than welcome.

I believe in some cases, such as manuals, GOG may have accidentally sold things that they honestly didn't know that they never had the legal right to sell in the first place. So if they get a copyright infringement notice to that effect, then I'm pretty sure they remove it retroactively off of the account from everyone who originally "bought it" even they though didn't really have the legal right to "buy it" in the first place.

And if that sort if thing is the case for the items the OP is talking about, then linking to them would be posting links to pirated material, which is against GOG's rules.

??? Say what? Isn't it the obligation of a store to provide at least the manual for the sold game? Is that a thing? Copyrights over the MANUAL!?

And if the copyright *CLAIM*, note the keyword claim, exactly as per that !@#$ Polish artist who threatened gog over the folklore Polish song in the witcher 3 soundtrack, has no official standing? A folk song doesn't belong to a single artist, yet gog removed it, without proof presented or that stooge providing backup to its claim.

The questions remain:
1 What happened to the "you buy it you keep it"?
2 If retroactive removal of legit purchased content here is a thing, then why somebody should pick this poison here, rather than the pioneers and specialists to such malpractice (steam, origin etc)?
3 Could somebody please give me the item in question, too? I preordered witcher 3, bought everything piece by piece, was gifted the GOTY and am extremely buggered by this retroactive deeckmove.

KiNgBrAdLeY7: retroactive removal of legit purchased content
See, it's "legit" that is the problem here. If you buy stolen goods, even unknowingly, they will be taken from you without compensation.

If GOG never had the rights to give you these items for download (which would baffle me for the Pool of Radiance code wheel, though), they have to remove them.

And copyright laws being insane as they are, failing to do so can get really expensive.

If someone complains, first thing they have to do is take them down. Otherwise you have a potential continuing infringement against better judgement - and that can get real nasty.
After taking down the item in question, there can be verifications, even court trials, but this all costs time and money, which is probably not worth it, just to put a few wallpapers and avatars back online.

I'm looking for these specific files primarily because they are a part of GOG history which I would like to preserve, not because I really need what's in those zip files in order to enjoy the games. For example, the 7th guest manual that you link is still available as a GOG goodie in our libraries, but the smaller and less interesting help sheet is not.
And i would kindly request a brave soul to help me, by dropping the removed witcher 3 song(s) (widowmaker? cana-something?). Because i cannot enjoy the experience and because i bought the entire thing legit, complete, before they took it away from my library.

Thank you very much!

Have it (both in mp3 as well as flac), although not within reach right now.
Could look into it end of next week at the earliest, if there's no one else beating me to it.

Would be interested in getting my hands on all of those (except for Anodyne and the LEGO games) as well, of course.
Always wondered what the fuss was all about with the Little Big Adventure 2 poster - something slightly lewd, iirc?

I'll take a look at my external archive and see what I have on your list and send you a chat if anything pops up!

EDIT: Most of my downloads started in 2014, however, I'm already seeing files on your list

Swedrami:
I'm not sure what's GOG's view about posting these publicly. You might want to delete the link (I already have the file from someone else anyhow). You can contact me via chat.

Feel free to add me so we can "chat" :D
Thank you, everyone; much obliged!
If you can't afford more than one external drive for backups, I suggest using one or more of the many free online cloud services, especially for those GOG files no longer available.

I have (had) two backup drives, one for GOG and one for everything else (basically my entire internal HDD). What I should have done (and what I will do now) is put the lost goodies on both.
