The game actually installs two Windows native libraries without asking. There is nothing to be added by the user after the installation has finished though.

I read that 1.9.21 supposedly fixed the longstanding bug that prevented "The Longest Journey" from working in wine.
iirc we had talked about that problem here some time ago
might be time to give the game another try ... :)

If using CrossOver use a Win7 bottle, otherwise it refuses to run with the error: "Painkiller Overdose requires at least Service Pack 2." (this also happens with regular Wine but not Wine Staging)
If using PlayOnLinux, run the game from/create a shortcut for "Overdose.exe"
How well does it run: Perfect
Details: Have only tested for a very short time but it seems to run perfectly. Tested with virtual desktop and CSMT enabled.

I've actually didn't checked that. All i did was install the game and run. I haven't found any problems, but since ya mentioned that command i've remembered that AquaNox has some mouse look issue related to the DPI and/or it's polling rate. I've been using the Microsoft Wireless Mouse for this test. I'll check it with my SteelSeries Rival 100 and Razer Abyssus. I will edit this post for the results.

EDIT: I've checked the game with SteelSeries Rival 100 set at 2000 DPI with 1000Hz polling rate. There were no mouse related issues at all.

Waiting for reports on Crysis. Does CSMT have any remarkable effect on performance? Graphical glitches with or without it? How is it with glsl disabled?
Crysis seems to mostly run well with CSMT but there's some glitching with water effects (flickering etc). Setting r_HDRRendering=0 fixes the flickering but introduces some other issues & ugliness with the water effects instead.
Well great. I just got around to testing it and water is glitched with or without CSMT. I can't tell if there's any remarkable difference in performance. Any idea how to show framerate in the island GPU benchmark?

Looks like I was able to fix the water issue by installing d3dcompiler_43 and deleting the shader cache (under "My Documents\Crysis\Shaders\"). Does this work for you?

Also check out http://www.tweakguides.com/Crysis_1.html - should be able to get it to display framerate etc using a console command
