I stopped at NYU student. Major Universities have been centers for leftist radicalism for many, many years now. Anything anyone who goes to school at a University says should be taken with a huge grain of salt... but that's just my dumb midwest hick point of view. What do I know? I didn't go to Commie-ville College USA.

This video is heavily relevant. Political correctness and these SJWs trying to progressively inject their views into different forms of entertainment/media just leads to absurd reactions at things that aren't actually offensive, or trying to find something offensive in things that may be satirical/spoof in nature. Also if you watch the video in full, you'll understand why people are wary of the fact that people keep claiming that They're not going to take your games away when clearly all it takes is enough people acting offended for some kind of censorship to take place. Everyone remember the people that cried foul at a bit of the translation Xseed did for Akiba's Trip? All it takes is a few special snowflakes for either censorship or self censorship to take place and ruin it for the majority who support the creative process of making anything from games to movies to whatever else.

Elizabeth Fogarty, a supporter of gamers, gaming and of course gamergate and the author of this article and more besides has been doxxed by neofems and her family personally threatened! She has withdrawn from #gamergate as a result of these attacks. A recent interview in Reaxxion has her final note which includes this statement ...

I won’t be back to Twitter. This was professionally and thoroughly done, likely paid for, by someone who wanted to intimidate me. It worked. I kept my children private for this reason, I knew that eventually they would be used as a weapon against me. My plan, all along, was if that occurred I would deactivate. I was fully prepared for this, and intend to stick with it. I ask that anyone with any decency respect this.

I will not be on Reddit. There is already a username Lizzyf620 (seemingly to share the dox further). If you see a Twitter account, Reddit account, anything, claiming to be me, it’s a lie.

I’m heartbroken over this. I invested a large amount of myself into GG, but – unexpectedly – invested even more of myself into you guys. I feel like I’ve lost all of my friends, and that hurts more than anything.

Apparently I'm some sort of bigot because I find the term "cis" to be both patronizing and insulting. Never mind that the term doesn't actually need to exist. We don't really need a term for both trans and non-trans. If somebody really needs to specify that somebody is a man and not in the trans way, they can say non-trans. But, de-legitimizing everybody else isn't an appropriate way of making friends or influencing people.

Seems to me that if trans folks want acceptance, perhaps inventing new terms for people that aren't trans isn't the best way of doing it. Perhaps just not making a big deal about it and being real people would be a more productive use of time.

The fact that you're saying that says that you haven't been to college at any time in the last 50 years. Yes, there are a few areas where schools are quite far left, but over all they really aren't. Back before the GOP went on their march to the sea, I would have been regarded as stoutly conservative. But, as the divide has moved further and further to the right, I'm now aligned with liberals. I'm not a terribly liberal person, I'm just smart enough to see the rhetoric coming off the GOP for what it is. A bunch of over-privileged folks that are more interested in hurting other people than helping people.

Ah, I think I just found the problem: he actively refused to do anything other than apologize to people who requested one. Yeah, that's not an apology, or one with no real substance. That's basically someone saying "eh, I don't see what your problem could possibly be, but I'll say the magic words to make you feel better if you tell me to".

Accuse those whom they percieve as their enemy of everything that they do themselves. It's almsot funny to read that post - this person (who ever they are?) is describing their own vial, murderous (doxxing and swatting can be fatal - not to mention the legislation they're pushing in Canada to legalize the murder of husbands by wives - search "Elizabeth Sheehy") propaganda.

But reallly gamers (yes gamers - we're the ones they said no longer exist), they - the anti-gamers, the neofems - don't have to do anything - these creatures can just lie back and let sugar daddy corporate mainstream media take care of everything. When you realize these circumstances it's hilarious, they paint themselves as the underdogs, the rebels LOL. Gamers are the people who are being attacked - if it's anyone who are the rebels or underdogs it is us gamers. It all seems so ridiculous sometimes, but its serious - they are an extremely dangerous and malevolent force with a vicious and destructive agenda and they are coming for us! So I'll say it again, gamers everywhere, keep on SPEAKING TRUTH TO POWER! Gamergate sympathizers, that is gamers, are a diverse cross section of millions of people all over the planet representing every race, sex, religion and so on imaginable. I wonder if his point was a lot of people seem to be getting upset on behalf of others. Makes me wonder how many actual Trans people reading his Tweet were offended. Then how many trans people got offended after all the retweets. And then how many non-trans people were getting upset of their behalf. I take it as he was sincerely apologizing to anyone specifically offended, but not to the mob who decided to attack him.

People are out of their minds for speaking the truth now? For speaking truth to power?

This is the reality of the well funded, now clearly corporate backed attack on gamers and gaming, not the flood of lies and propaganda such as that abc hitpiece and these are people - gamers and gamergate supporters and sympathizers who are being made to suffer - that is not delusional, that is reality.
