After playing Skyrim exclusivley for over a week now, I must say I'm damn impressed.
Especially how fast those load times are. Oblivion, which I also played on this maching just a few month ago. Was a lot slower and laggier than Skyrim.

What are you playing it on? the xbox360 load times kill me.
I had to stop playing Skyrim because of the gliches. just to many but I did finish the main quest and a few others (about 50 hours of game play)

Well that's what you get for buying a TES game for console :-P Even thou it's inventory management that's killing me on PC...

On the PC. Hardly any noteworthy glitches or bugs so far. Heck, it's more stable than Oblivion ever was. A few crashes related to the shadows setting was the only thing that I really noticed. From double clicking on the icon to actually standing in Skyrim it takes me less than a minute. Which is quite unique nowadays.
Do you guys think that a rig that plays Oblivion without problems, will be able to handle Skyrim? I have a i7 2670 @ 2.20 Ghz, 8GB RAM, 2GB GeForce 555M and I can run Battlefield 3 on High with around 20 FPS.

From my experience with Oblivion I would say yes. But I'm no expert. But on my machine (which actually doesn't look any better than yours) Skyrim looks better and runs smother at the same time than Oblivion ever it.
