Ok then, I'll have a shot.

1) Dress up as Norse Gods crossed with Chaos Warriors

2) Build an elaborate float / mobile stage

3) Drive around the most right wing / religious town you could find, playing the most rowdy songs you have at full blast.

4) ????

5) Profit!

Thanks for metal! Oh, and the games too.

F1ach: NOT IN, but they are a really good band, well worth checking out for any metalheads lurking around here :)
You may want to keep an eye on this for part two then - the signed EP and merch GA! You bought the EP anyways didnt you (or am I thinking of the wrong person?!).
In + repped
My lame idea: find a guy named Theon, tie him to a chair and gag him, and make a short youtube video saying that people should buy your music/album or else you're going to smack this Theon fellow over the head with... wait for it... a pan :P

I don't know about F1ach, but I bought both the EP (signed!) and a t-shirt.

As for the promotion idea: have someone capable make a mod for Skyrim, having the band members give a virtual concert of one or a couple tracks (on request by the player so as to not get repetitive) while portrayed as some of the nine divines or Daedra princes, depending on which divine/daedra personality fits best with each band member, similar to L90ETC from Warcraft 3 and WoW. Record it and put on Youtube for those without the game.

Also, um... the only game from the bundle I don't yet have is Brutal Legend, and I'm waiting for that one to appear on GOG, so I'd prefer the prize to go to someone who have not yet experienced most of the included games.

No, I have no EP, I seem to remember asking you if they had anything released at the time, but I dont think they had, I tend not to buy EP's, I dont like it when you are just starting to get your teeth sunk into a band and the EP finishes. Then you are stuck picking your nose waiting for the album that will invariably have most of the EP on it :)

I would definately buy an album of theirs though as I like them alot. :)

Well, that'd be great of course :)))) But in all fairness I will buy their album anyway, so I would probably post in the giveaway saying how great they are, but not enter, to let somebody who is less convinced, get the EP to check them out some more.

Jesus have you ever tried looking that name up in google to check them out....theres a veritable pantheon of listings under that name lol!

Check out Norweigan band Pantheon I :)

True indeed! - though that's no doubt another reason for this giveaway!

Also to be in with a chance of winning a physical copy of their ep, figure out the answer to the question at http://www.pantheonofficial.com/#!media/cee5 and email them it from the contact page with the subject header "EP Giveaway"
An interesting idea for promoting your music would be leaving some free cds around in parks, outside schools, public restrooms etc, assuming you don't get arrested for terrorism or something...

They could create a registration form on homepage. Each registered user has a chance to guess how many sacrificed goats will please Zeus:
'Sacrifice __ goats in the name of Zeus'
where the number is generated in range from 1 to 1000 on a daily basis. Each user can take a guess once a day. The lucky ones can download a track for free and get the status 'Pleased Zeus n times'.

lol
Thanks and +1 for your generosity, Sachys!

Not in, so I guess the fabled Gnu will get me eventually. :D

Lifthrasil: Well, the best way to gain publicity in a gaming community would be to perform inside a game. Just team up with some developers,...
This. I find a majority of new bands this way. I don't actively look up for new songs (YouTube), watch TV (commercials, Eurovision, etc.) or follow public music events, so games and TV series/movies are the right way how to be added to the songlist of my music player.

Maybe Brutal Legend, which I finished today, broke the ice but Pantheon's tracks don't sound that bad. I'm saying that as someone who doesn't listen to metal music. I'm not in.
