Man I was joking, but it I guess it was the trump administration. :P
Gog has filled my HD.

Telika: Gog has filled my HD.
I now have 2 HD's for my GoG library, I live in rural England so internet is basically a myth and I can't be bothered to wait a day for something as small as Doom to download.
Gog still fails at getting licenses for good OLD games! That and, iconic series, aren't here yet! Anything Diablo, Warcraft, C&C, GTA, etc...
The Moonlighter thread vanished just as I was going to complain about the suspicious pixel art.

BattlestarSC2: I say all this because I know of a kid in my class who died driving to class, wearing a helmet.

tinyE: I don't know the exact numbers so I can't really comment on the statistics (and I'm way to tired to debate anyway :P), but you sound like my crazy aunt who refuses to wear a seat belt because she heard about someone who was killed by the seat belt in an accident. Yes, this does happen, but for everyone 1 person a seat belt kills, it saves 1000.
I see what you mean, but seatbelts are way different. Most cars have roll cages and a really big engine to protect you from head-on collisions or crash bars... I wear my seatbelt and helmet, but, what I was trying to say is motorcycle accicents are waaaaaay more deadly than car accidents and if you see a wrecked motorcycle on a highway, the driver is, like, 95% dead regardless of any protection they were wearing
Yay motorcycles! I hope to get a replacement for my long since sold one. Helmets are ok. I just think about road rash on my face and that makes me want to wear one.
Customers...

Guy begs me to move a big machine for him. Can't do it because of some prior obligations in the schedule. Get him in touch with a colleague who can do it right. Customer confirms. Colleague blocks off his schedule, makes travel plans including buying plane ticket. Customer then says he's going to have someone local do it, and that my colleague can come in after to 'get everything lined up.'

Yeeeaaaaah, no. Colleague says he's going to tell the customer he doesn't follow up other people's work, unless it's me or a couple other select guys. And I don't blame him. These things are big and complicated, and who knows what the amateurs will screw up along the way? That you have to find without anybody telling you what was done before you arrived.

Had one where I had to take the machine completely apart to its major components - like it ships - because they screwed up one detail that I specifically told them NOT to mess with. So it meant their cost of taking it apart wrong, then moving it, then setting it up, then me coming down there, then spending time checking it out, then figuring out they made a mistake that screws up alignment of 2/3 of the machine, then taking it all apart again, then re-aligning those 2 pieces, then putting it all back together again, and then - finally - getting to do the "lining up" that they figured was the only thing I needed to do.

Customers think they're saving money by having someone cheaper come do it. Almost never works out that way, and especially not on the big beast in question.
My copy of Revolver is missing.

Son of a bitch, that's their best record!

Oh well, to Amazon I go.

I'm fat, 257 lbs. Due to my medications, inactivity, and binges. It's going to take me what seems like a monumental effort to get back to 180 lbs.
forget Fortnite or PUBG.

"Swedish Anus: The Race"

is here :-)

Accidentally ran a red light. (I wasn't paying attention.)

Fortunately:
* Nothing bad happened as a result.
* I was not rewarded for this mistake. (There was a red light at the next intersection, and the light I ran turned green before the next light.)

With that said, somebody should have honked at me, but nobody did.

Oops!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeee,PULL OVER DRIVER!
Reached garage to find flat tire on car. Went to work, have a different set of rims ready for new tires, since they needed replacing anyway.

Leave early for tire change, put on reserve tire.. No air. So had to use one of the tires on second set of rims, left the flat tire at home.

Get there, one rim of the second set is broken. AIght, replace with the ones on car... Except I left the one with flat tire at home.. Ergo 3 matching rims and one odd one...
HAVE to go for family stuffs on the other side of country (Norway) and had no choice. So now my car looks... Odd.

:(
I've only had one cigarette for the day.
