I think the gog staff dot is for replies only not for the thread starter so news posts don't have it unless they reply in the thread. Which I guess is sort of handy for the news posts, maybe, but for general thread posts it does drop the !!!! for what are often important posts, like this one.

Because GOG doesn't want to advertise it. They just want a token notification that it is happening so they can point to it and say "see? We told you"

Virtue signaling at its finest. If they really wanted to let people know, mass mailers would go out. But no one wants to openly advertise bad news like that so they don't.

@all: get this game while it is still here! It's one of the best entries in the quaint FMV-adventure genre.

Overall a remaster would mostly involve higher resolutions since it's effectively a FMV game with puzzles.

Although... making it have a 3D world and doing live rendering might actually be better and FMV in certain sections instead...
