Sorry everyone for this test post I made, but recently I've tried to post a problem in Baldurs Gate forums and whenever I press 'Post my message' nothing happened so I was seeing is something wrong with my account, mods please lock/delete the thread.

EDIT: Well truhlik that was fast of you hehe, but nonetheless sorry about this again.

Try removing any http links you have in the post that doesn't post, removing the http:// should be enough. Alternatively, check the length of your post, since there is a character limit to the posts as well.

Yeah I tried it again, and now it successfully posted, nothing changed or removed, maybe it was just my browser.

JMich: Try removing any http links you have in the post that doesn't post, removing the http:// should be enough. Alternatively, check the length of your post, since there is a character limit to the posts as well.
Is there, I haven't come across one, must be long. I have noted that unfinished bracketed codes sometimes cause a post to fail, i.e. if I put quote between brackets but don't end quote brackets slash quote then it wont post.

There is, and it is. A few thousand characters if I recall correctly, but never reached it myself either.

Recently something similar happened to me. After pressing "post my message", editing window disappeared but no post was created. My message was relatively short and without any links, although contained a quote/reply (both opening and closing tags were there).

I guess we're the lucky ones... ;)

On IE it sometimes just spins like it does before going back to the page, and never posts. But thats just IE.
