I see that this thread has managed to bring out some of the worse aspects out of several community members who are otherwise not given towards this kind of behavior.

I understand that the topic is a heated one and it may be difficult to not give in to one's emotions regarding this issue but we certainly shouldn't allow ourselves to become monsters while fighting them.

With that said, I am locking this thread as there has been too much emotionally charged speech in this thread that could be called "hate speech".
