Day 22. My character has seen some crazy stuff and been to a lot of places. Currently staying in Strange Town heading to United Cities next since I discovered their location from maps I bought from the traders here.

When you play a RTT game (world in conflict) and suddenly feel like you should be logging flight hours in your favourite general aviation flight sim instead... :)

Replaying this masterpiece in time for the upcoming release next month.
The psp original was unsettling on its own but seeing it remastered in HD adds a new layer of dread.
In order to avoid spoiling it for others, i will not be posting more than this one screenshot of the title screen.

It's a tale as old as time.

You'll bash mine.

Even though it lacks modern conveniences, the game can still be fun for us older players. Not sure I'd recommend it to younger ones though. Some of that unit path-finding and enemy awareness can be quite odd.

I actually managed to.. err.. lose the tutorial mission on my first go today. Whoops! ;)

Yeah, it's been left in the dust on almost all fronts by more moderns RTS titles, but the atmosphere for me remains intact :) Blizzard created their own vibe - the artwork, music and voiceovers create an experience I can't find anywhere else, not even in Warcraft 2
Hello old friend, it's been a while.

The two I've been playing most recently. I might need to fire up Warcraft 1 again. I'm pretty sure I never finished the human campaign.

Vythonaut: Explosions done right.
The carnage in this game just doesn't have an equal. It's definitely one of the games I want to replay when I build a gaming rig again, to experience it in all its glory on full graphics with 4xAA :)
Well, perhaps I shouldn't say no equal. The first Dawn of War was also a thing to behold when two full sized armies clashed

Both campaigns are very similar, but I prefer the human campaign. They've got the best underground mission in the campaign - killing Medivh! possesed at that point by Sargeras if my warcraft lore hasn't failed me...
