RadonGOG: Do you believe that Sys Shock II will bypass Roller Coaster Tycoon today?
Or do you think that too much folks just don´t recognice the sale at all?

Ghorpm: It's already done :)
Didn´t think it would be THAT fast!
It's now past Sim City 2000.
Nice, but not good enough! I want to see it break up into the RPGs like Alpha Centauri and Theme Hospital did. Too bad it's not a week-long sale.

Probably due to my purchase ;) :P

You got that right, I'll probably miss this excellent bargain because its just for 24h.

rodrolliv: GOG should have started the High5 promo tomorrow, so the this one could be in the spotlight, but whatever.
Maybe they don't want to sell too many copies of SS2 for this price??
Weekend Sale for $3.99. I wonder how many copies they will sell.

Well, it now has to compete with Demon Stone ;)
It's only 4th in the "current bestseller" list, and hasn't managed to gain another place for now.

That makes me sad. Since it rose so quickly after it was released, my only guess is, that the majority of people who were interested in the game bought it full-price.
The game was $2.50 just about a week ago wasn't it? That combined with it being in a humble bundle weekly last week probably got some people that were thinking of getting it soon, leading to this sale not being a big boost.
The sole existence of this thread, and 18(!) pages in it is the proof have much this game is loved and respected.
I'm sure it will be in top10 this time next year. ;)

I miss the days when I see Baldur's Gate II on the top list in the home page.
Personally, I think SS2's race is run. The people who would pay full price got it already, the people who were waiting for a sale got one already and with two lesser discounts later on besides. At this point it would take a massive discount to get people who weren't too interested in it to buy it and even then I don't see it moving beyond one or two notches.

Still, it's been fairly interesting, I'll keep on eye on it but I doubt much is going to change anymore.
