How long does it take for a thread to go necro?

Probably as variable as the human body undergoing decomposition. The average thread tends to run its course within months unless it's a postcount spam game or something with an ongoing purpose. This one getting bumped by chuckleheads out of an antagonistic opposition to its title is a rare exception.
