Wishbone: It's a great collection, but of course, it's not $9.99 for me. It's €9.99, even though Denmark does not use Euros. Now, if it was 9.99 dkr...
Petrell: BTW, has resent recession sparked any interest to join Euro in Denmark like it seem to have done in Britain, Sweden and Iceland?
No, quite the opposite, in fact. The recession hasn't hit us as hard as it has most of the Euro countries. Our current government is led by Euro fanatics, and they've tried to scare us into accepting the Euro ever since they came to power, by saying that in the event of a recession, we'd be hit much harder than the Euro countries. Since everyone can now see that that's not true at all, the percentage of Danes who want the Euro is at the lowest point in a long time.
Eets Wasn't that interested in it when it first turned up. Gravitron 2 Didn't really impress me. I-Fluid Demo didn't even work correctly. Multiwinia Could have been better. The selection method, for example, was really annoying. But it did show promise. Trials 2 Hated it. With a passion. End result, I bordering on not getting this deal as the majority of the games in it simply don't impress me. Now, if Valve had offered up a choice of any 5 indie games for that price -- allowing us to put together our own packs, they would have made at least a couple of sales from me. Sadly, I get the impression that the Steam store simply cannot do that. Shame. =/ In fact, just checking GamersGate I see they have Multiwina on sale at 30% off, so if I decide I want it this weekend, I'd rather get it from GamersGate for $6.99, save some cash and not have my Steam account bloated with games I have no interest in =).
I wasn't that interested in Eets either, but it's kind of neat, sort of like the incredible machine.. gravitron 2 is really difficult to control, I'm going to have to see about using a joystiq with it, otherwise it's pretty cool and fun. iFluid won't run correctly on my laptop, I haven't had the time to play it on my desktop yet. I played Multiwinia demo with a few guys from the IRC it was a lot of fun, and I really considered buying it after that, since I bought the pack, I was really excited, to be honest I really didn't like the story in Darwinia and the arcade RTS style of Multiwinia is fantastic. Trials 2 is strangely addictive, it's a stupid, stupid game, but it's kind of fun to watch your guy crash a whole bunch. :D
