PenutBrittle: Guys guys guys guys.

Get Intrusion 2. It does Metal Slug better than Metal Slug does Metal Slug.

You get to ride a dire wolf, just because you can. It also has some of the best boss battles I've ever seen.

So yeah, that's the real steal for today, I think.
Hmm, will try the demo, thanks for the heads up.

My own "steal" today was $3.74 Legend of Grimrock with the autumnseal coupon.

It certainly looks cool, and Metal Slugs were my fav games at recreative machines back in the day. Downloading demo now.
I'm thinking Dead Island GOTY will go on a 75% sale over the course of this. Anyone know is it any good? My friend told me to stay away from it, because it's a boring grindfest. I kinda like the idea of an open world zombie island thing, so I'd like a second opinion. Any second opinioniers around?

It's basically Metal Slug but with a crazy physics engine. It's not as pretty as the lovely Metal Slug artwork, but the physics leads to some really amazing set-pieces.
Is Steam doing any fancy achievement style hanky panky? Haven't seen any so far.
A few recommended Indies:

Dungeons of Dreadmore £0.86
E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy £1.24
Cargo Comander, £1.74
Cave Story +, £1.74
Hamlet or the Last Game without MMORPG Features, Shaders and Product Placement

And I am finally trying Death and the Fly.
I like the idea of a Shakesperean P&C, but ugh does that name put me off.

If you want a little hint, it has nothing at all to do with Shakespeare really. It is fun little point and click though. I think it is a little overlooked. Good chance now to try it out.
Here goes my first purchase, KOTOR II! The first was my first CRPG a few months ago actually and i liked it very much.

I see no change on the stupid badges, either, despite having gotten a game. Give them time, they'll come up with some shit. They always do.

Well, I have no money anyway. x| The whole "Last Game Without..." stuff just kind of gets on my nerves, as I dislike indie products with a holier-than-thou feel.
This is the first time i am witnessing a sale like this on steam... i know i haven't been that long on steam...

Question:
Does this sale get any better than this as christmas and new year come close?

Should i hold of on some purchases... cause if it does... i would really like to save some dough ;)
Lume worth $1.75?

StingingVelvet: Lume worth $1.75?
no.... It last for about 45 min, and there is very little to do. Nice graphics though. It feels like 1/4 of a game at least.
Oh, hey! Hey! Heyheyheyheyhey! Guess what's up for a flash sale?

Operation FLASHpoint!

Ha Ha! Geddit? FLASHpoint?
